I bought this camera and I am really happy with it.

I am a bit disappointed. I probably expected too much coming from Nikons higher resolution models, but I am a bit disappointed with the clarity of the image and resolution doesn't really allow much in the way of cropping. I am hoping to improve the clarity with better lenses in due course. The menu's are still as notorious as ever, and poor compared to some other brands, however they don't take long to get used to, it's just a bit long winded. The Quick menu solves a lot of issues as does saving base settings for subjects to program dial spaces 1 and 2. I don't want to save any setting to my cards as this makes things far to complicated and prevents me from formatting the cards. It is light and comfortable to hold, not so small you feel like you're drop it (especially where wearing gloves) unlike some mirrorless bodies. Battery life is as expected, although we would all probably want more, carry extra batteries is not really a chore.

I love the camera, but the instructions are appalling and would it really have dented your profits that much to include a charging cable, and / or base and a download cable?

As a former Minolta user and sony convert I have experience of Sony DSLRs and SLT cameras, using A700. A77 and A99ii. I also have quite a range of A mount lenses. Decided due to changes in Hand Bagage rules needed something a little smaller for travel. Have been looking for a while and finally decided on the A7iii, which suited my needs best, Turns out its a really nice camera, great image quality and easy to set up and use, with the bonus of holding 2 cards, so I can continue ti shoot Raw and Jpeg on seperate cards as I do wth the A99. Focus speed with the 70-300 G lens is fast and acurate and supprised with the speed of the continuous shooting setting. The buffer is plenty big enough, and with a V60 rated card emptys quickly. Over all very pleased, and with an adaptor I am still able to use my A mount lenses to yjier full potential, saving having to replace them all, Although the E mounts are smaller and lighter, they will come in time.

I bought the camera a few weeks ago and after using a A350 dslr for years I am pleasantly surprised at the clarity of the photos, although I haven’t taken many shots to date.

I have moved over from canon & can’t believe the difference in quality of the photos & the ease of use. Full sensor produces sharp photos.

I treated myself to the Sony a7iii as an upgrade from a Nikon d5600 and am blown away with this camera, so pleased I jumped ship back to Sony

Great camera for a great price. So good to buy gear that use to be the best on the market for a fraction of the price. Image quality is amazing and auto focus up with the best

I only had this camera 3 weeks, and as a beginner, I got used to it very quickly and I found it quite easy to use. Not to mention it's great quality.

THIS CAMERA IS THE BEST I HAVE USED IN THE PAST 6/7 YEARS

ITS COMFORTABLE TO USE ERGONOMICALLY SOUND AND JUST REWARDING

ALSO SONY HAVE INCREASED THE RANGE OF SMALLER LENSES WHICH FOR ME IS LOGICAL ME LIKING THE SMALLER BUT VERY POWERFUL CAMERA WHICH THIS CLEARLY IS....

IVE COME BACK TO SONY AFTER ALMOST HALF A DECADE OF EXPERIMENTING WITH OTHER MAKES..

Upgraded from entry level dSLR to full frame mirrorless. Great camera not too heavy. Takes great photos and menu system is great to learn all the features easily.

Jumping up from the A7 there is enough new features to help take the plunge.

I would have given 5 stars but I found the literature to be of poor quality.

Sadly due to this I did not realise that I had 60 days to register the camera to gain an additional years warranty.

The quality is insane. It has a really nice build, high end finish and easy to use out of the box. The straps can be a little fiddly to set up and are quite short. The image quality is great, autofocus is fast, and it has plenty of features.

The customizability of the camera is insane.

I bought this camera a few weeks ago and it's honestly amazing. The screen that can be adjusted to make it easier for you to film with the camera lower or higher, the setting that allows you to tap the screen to choose things you want to focus on. There are so many things that make this camera incredible. The only issue I have with it is that you can't tap the screen to navigate the menu (unless this is something I haven't figured out) but other than that it's just amazing and 100% worth it if you are thinking of getting it

love using this camera ,i use a lot of vintage lenses ,minolta,takumar and carl ziess and the a7iii is a great camera for that ,im hoping to buy the sony 70-200 mm f2.8 this year to use with it to

I love this little camera, and, I am annoyed by two very important things that cause great problems for me. The first is the screen, the connections, the motherboard whatever is faulty. I’ve gone through two in the course of a year. The second is Sony removed. Tap to focus over Wi-Fi remote control. Which is the whole freaking point of remote controlling your camera would not tethered. Dear Sony, put it back. And fix your screen issues. And fix the other issue for which there’s a class action lawsuit against you.

I love my new Sony a7III camera, even though im Canon user… i use it with an adapter to ef lenses it works perfectly fine 😁 I highly recommend this workhorse of equipment 💪

I have had this camera coming upto a month now and what can I say the pictures are very good the quality of the body is very good I love it.

I’ve had the mark 1 for 6/7 years now and I’ve absolutely loved it. I wanted to upgrade so I went for the mark 3. Biggest difference is the size. The mark 3 is considerably bigger but it’s still massively smaller than a DSLR. The processor seems faster and the battery capacity is bigger. Finally, love the fact they have added a silent shutter option! After all, the shutter sound was never needed with it being mirrorless.
