For a small camera, it does promise big shots. It’s versitale, has a simple menu, a wide variety of lenses and adapters. Yes!

Lovely compact, lightweight camera. I now carry the M50 with me a lot more than I did with the bulkier DSLR. Big advantage is being able to use DSLR lenses with a adaptor.

It is a wonderful Camera that takes lovely pictures. It is very easy to use and the additional 55-200mm lens is compact enough to take out of family days out!

I have problems with the EVF. There is a notable lag between putting my eye to the EVF before I see an image, causing many missed shots, because the subject, normally a small bird, has moved. Also the Image Stabilization on the lens, the excellent Canon EF 70- 200 mm f/4 l is usm, operates as soon as the M50 is turned on, using large amounts of battery power. I wish I had never bought the M50. I have actually bought the 90D and will never buy Mirrorless again

This camera is excellent for someone who is looking to start amateur photography also good value for money

Good one for casual usage

I have used Canon compacts for work for over 15 years and found them absolutely faultless. Needed one for conference and general photography so, this package was the obvious choice. Same top quality and fairly easy to convert from compact to mirrorless with same top quality and intuitive controls.

Excellent product. A huge step up from my original DSLR. I was very torn between this and the 250D which is compatible with the EF-S lenses I already own but I decided to take the risk and pay the small difference for the mirrorless and I couldn't be happier with it. It is very small - with a pancake lens on it (something like a 22mm) it could pass for pocket size. You can even buy an adapter to connect the EF-S lenses to the M50 which will probably be my next step.

I got this more for videography so I can't comment on photography much but the conferencing pack is perfect for my online needs (working at a university). The M50 makes a brilliant and easy to use webcam that adds a huge level of professionalism to all of my calls. The ability to just connect the camera to my PC (using the Canon app) and record things directly without having to worry about battery life is fantastic. I also attach the camera to the Tascam DR60 which works perfectly, enabling me to record high-quality audio on the Tascam with a good scratch track on the camera for syncing later. I work alone so the size of the M50 (which is about the size of the Tascam) means I can carry a whole film kit in a small satchel.

There were some teething issues but that was more a result of my unfamiliarity with the system more than anything. The autofocus when filming FHD is brilliant, however, it is a little more haphazard when you are filming in 4k - but to be honest, no one needs to see my face in 4K when I'm recording lectures so that's not a problem and if you are filming other stuff in 4K then you should be controlling the focus more yourself anyway. One thing to note which caught me out at first - you can record video when the camera is set to any more, but you can only adjust the quality of the video when the camera is set to correct (video) mode. It took me a little while to work out why I couldn't change it to 4K but the solution is very simple as long as you remember to change modes.

There's a port to connect a HDMI monitor to it next to the port to connect it to your PC. There's also a microphone jack so you can turn this into a vlogging kit quite easily using the Joby tripod that comes with the conferencing pack to hold it.

Todella hyvä kamera, joka sopii hyvin aloittelijalle, että miksei kokeneemmallekkin kuvajalle. Todella helpot säädöt ja selkeät asetukset.

Kameran 24 megapixelin sensori antaa todella hyviä kuvia, jopa tuolla 15-45mm objektiivilla.

Kamera on myös helposti yhdistettävissä puhelimeen WiFillä, joten pystyy langattomasti siirtämään kuvia puhelimeen, myös voi yhdistää usb:llä tietokoneeseen, eikä tarvitse muistikortinlukijaa, jotta voit siirtää kuvia.

Pieni koko tekee myös kamerasta helposti mukaan otettavan, eikä paina hirveästi, kääntyvä näyttö on myös ollut todella iso plussa itselleni.

Miinusta kamerassa kuitenkin on 4k videokuvauksessa 2.56x croppi, jonka takia ei ole ehkä paras kamera 4k videolle, koska kameraa täytyy pitää aika kaukana itsestään/kohteesta (esim. vlog). Mutta tätä pystyy myös parantamaan Speedboosterilla, joka toimii myös adapterina, että voi käyttää muita Canon objektiiveja kamerassa.

Toinen miinus on akun kesto, joka ei ole kovinkaan hyvä, joten on kannattavaa ostaa vara-akkuja.

Näppärä kamera, joka kulkee helposti mukana. Omiin käsiin hieman pienehkö.

Great Camera. I recommended. Good for Vlogging or making any nice videos for yourself or Youtube.

Ei ole markkinoilla montaa kameraa näin hyvillä spekseillä tähän hintaam. Canon mahtava automaattitarkennus tekee amatöörin videoista huipputasoisia.

Huonoja puolia ei voi oikein sanoa, kun parannettavaa on kalleimmissakin laitteissa.

Ihan huippu kamera hintaan nähden. Istuu hyvin käteen eikä vie liikaa tilaa. Tällä saa laadukasta kuvaa! Hämäräkuvaus ei parasta, mutta tätä varten on sitten toisia linssejä.

The camera EOS M50 is a good camera. I'm a novice and not an expert. But I find it a very good camera. But I'm disappointed with the customer service.

Hyvä pieni perusjärkkäri kaikille kuvaajille. Pieni koko plussaa ehdottomasti, tosin ainoa miinus on M-sarjan linssit, joiden tulevaisuus on kysymysmerkki. Adapterilla saa kaikki linssit kiinni, joten sen suhteen ei huolta.

I bought this a few wqeeks ago as a gift for my daughter whos moving to London in September to atteend a Performing Arts School. She needs a camera for logs, self tapes, audition work, etc. and this is what she needs and more. The auto focus as she moves around is fantastic. The screen makes self taping so much easier. The ease of use and weight of the camera make it a fantastic alternative to my DSLR that she currently borrows.

Not able to use it much due to lockdoen

Hello. I don’t know why so many people who have a camera review are always trying to highlight that it is so bad! Before you buy the camera, you have time to think, and then decide whether or not to buy. I used the camera several months and it was very good for me and I am completely satisfied with it. The battery lasts in use and all specifications are very suitable, I have no dispute in shooting video. When one has to shoot a 4K video, consider the distance, and this is a very intuitive thing, not that big problem. For my part, I find the camera very cool, and thank you Canon for that camera. Also the auto foucs system is very good and fast I love it. Thanks again Canon.
