I have had this BBQ for 18 months. Love that it gives the convenience of electric cooking. It's easy to take apart to clean and the cooking grates and removable base fit in the dishwasher which I also love. It doesn't provide the same searing heat as gas BBQs, but now that I am used to that it does a very good job of cooking and there is no way I would want to swap it for a gas BBQ.

The one draw back is that it flat cooking plates are not available as an option so you really need to be OK to cook everything on grates if you are going to be happy with this BBQ. (There is a grilling stone and griddle available but they are both pretty silly. Neither works well and they mean you have less cooking surface available than if you just had the option to replace the grates with a flat plate)

I have a disability and I decided to replace my Weber kettle with electric. The Pulse is wonderful. Just turn it on, warm it up, and you’re good to go. So far done ribs, steaks, sausages, burgers, and pizza (on a Weber stone). All were great - pulled pork is next. The grill makes cooking a breeze. It’s easy to clean and we use it 2-3 times a week.

Have had my Pulse 2000 for a year and extremely happy with it. Better than my previous Genesis gas bbq. Makes good pizzas and the app on my phone is so easy to use. Perfect corned silverside roast tonight.

Brilliant BBQ but failed within a few months and needed a new controller. Weber support passed me around and parts are slow to get.

I was very apprehensive going from gas to electric but it was a case of have to. One week in and I needn’t have worried if Pork Belly is the test. Cooked perfectly and the crackling was one of the best. It will take a little time to learn temperatures but if i can get great crackle then everything else is easy.

I admit, I was sceptical about buying a electric bbq, and I do love our Weber Q, just got sick of dealing with gas bottles. I have cooked and roasted, beef, lamb, sausages, steak, fish, bacon and potato gems all cooked perfectly. I absolutely love it, I love the temperature probes, I have never used temp probes before, really helpful. Glad I purchased the Pulse 2000.

Owned our 2000 for a month now and cannot speak highly enough of its cooking abilities/ease of cleaning and appearance. After installing and exterior power point setup is a breeze!

Easy to set up and get started and you really can’t go wrong in terms of cooking on it. I’ve never had any luck cooking on other BBQ’s but have cooked delicious and tasty meat and vegetables on the Weber from day one with no fails. Easy to clean too.

Love the ease of electricity cooking but find cleaning the interior lid and removable base cover VERY VERY challenging and time consuming.

This is more like an American BBQ pit machine. Works great roasting, smoking, low and slow, crisping up. Just don't expect it to flame up and sizzle like an Aussie Barbie. Don't go running it open and flipping meat every 2 mins, expecting it to work like a gas unit. Trust the probes, keep the lid closed and find something else to do while you have those beers.

It was good while is lasted, but the electrical unit failed after 2 years. It did cook well during that time though.

Next time I will stick with a gas version.

I have had my Pulse for 12 months I look forward to using every time. Easy great to use and control

Just had roast pork it was perfect due to the Pulses capability. Have cooked a number of roasts an the temperature sensors make it so much easier.

We have had GAs/Charcoal BBQ's over the years and decided to get Pulse 2000 because we moved to a apartment and didnt want the hassle of gas bottles. Guests are unable to tell the difference between the electric and the previous gas/charcoal. We would not go back to gas it cooks it that well. Just wish the trolley was able to have a 2nd tray on the LHS. WE have had it for over 2 years and cook on it once/twice a week. Fantastic

shift to apartment living forced a shift to electric - not a decision I would have made otherwise, so I was prepared for a little disappointment

it does take a slightly different approach to cooking (as it does with a kitchen stove), but no issues with heat and cooking results

I wouldn't bother with the pizza plate and grill accessories - pizza plate is too small as is the grill plate which is a nuisance to clean - I ended up buying a Lodge P14P3 14 Inch Round Cast Iron Pizza Pan which not only delivers amazing pizzas, but serious searing heat for steaks

my only criticism is the i-grill feature - just because you can doesn't mean you should - it should ideally be an option

So easy to use. Very efficient, clean with a great smoky taste.

Unpacked today, enjoying our first meal. Steak and lamb chops. Excited that the electric pulse 2000 works as well as the charcoal bbq.

We bought this when we moved into a unit as we were worried about having a gas bottle in a high rise and also the inconvience of having to get refills.

Were very sceptical about how it would cook (i.e. would it get hot enough) but have been totally blowen away with the results.
