Etsin uutta ilmankostutinta vanhan höyrystävän mallin korvikkeeksi. En halunnut kalkkia ympäriinsä levittävää ultraäänivehjettä enkä virtasyöppöä vedenkeitintä, joten tämä vaikutta kiintoisalta laitteelta negatiivisista arvosteluista huolimatta.

Vehje kuluttaa pienimmällä nopeusasetuksella vain 9 wattia, kun vanha rohjake söi 200 W. Pienin asetus näyttää riittävän pitämään 40 m² kämpän kosteuden 35-42 prosentin välillä säästä riippuen. Kosteuden mittasin kahdella mittarilla jotka ovat eri puolilla kämppää, laitteen oma mittari tuntuu näyttävän aivan liian pieniä lukemia. Vaikka 150 € tuntuu hieman kalliilta laitteesta, joka käytännössä on ämpäri, tekninen pesusieni ja tuuletin, näillä energianhinnoilla se maksaa itsensä takaisin yhdessä talvessa.

Tankki on ihan liian pieni, sen joutuu täyttämään 12 tunnin välein. Se on onneksi helppoa, onnistuu vesikannulla ilman että laitetta joutuu siirtelemään. Huolto samoin on helppoa, kostutussieni pestään kerran viikossa pasuaineella tai sitruunahapolla. 25 euroa maksava sieni täytyy vaihtaa kuuden kuukauden välein, eli kerran talvessa.

Pienistä puutteistaan huolimatta varsin kelvollinen vehje.

Helppo käyttää, helppo puhdistaa. Ei kalkkia missään pinnoilla. Käytän pienessä huoneessa ja nostaa ilmankosteuden hyvin. Hiljainen.

Hyvä laite, ollut käytössä yhden talven. Kuluttaa vähän energiaa, koska ottaa haihtumislämmön huoneiston ilmasta, siis ei lämmitystä sähköllä eikä lämmitä huoneilmaa ( periaatteessa hiukan viilentää sitä). Hyvä ilman suhteellisen kosteuden mittaus ja automatiikka, mikä monesta muusta kostuttimesta puuttuu. Hiljainen yötoiminto. Jos laite tuntuu tehottomalta, niin silloin ilmeisesti huoneiston ilmanvaihtuvuus on turhan suuri, minkä seurauksena huoneilma on talvella tosikuivaa ilman kostutinta ( 15-20%). Haihdutuskennoston joutuu puhdistamaan silloin tällöin, mutta toimenpide on helppo. Uuden kennoston voi ostaa netin kautta.

Lyhyen käytön jälkeen olen todella tyytyväinen tähän laitteeseen. Laitteeseen veden lisääminen on markkinoiden helpointa. Laitteen vesihöyry on näkymätöntä, ja kalkkia ei ilmesty huonekalujen ja lattian pinnoille. Laite on helppokäyttöinen, ja vaikka laite tuntuu hintavalta, on se jokaisen euron arvoinen.

Tämä kostutin imee ilmaa ja lisää siihen vettä ja puhaltaa ilman ulos. Eli paljon parempi kuin sumuttava tai höyrystävä systeemi.

Vesisäiliö kestää noin vuorokauden, joten on helppo rutiini lisätä vettä vaikka iltaisin. Säiliö on maailman helpoin täytettävä ja sen voi kevyesti kantaa kylppäriin täytettäväksi. Puhdistus on tosi helppoa: suodatinta pidetään kerran viikossa tunti vedessä ja huuhdellaan.

Kostuttimessa on helpot ja hyvät säädöt. Arvostan etenkin äänetöntä ja lähes valotonta unitilaa, jonka ansiosta voin pitää kostutinta sängyn vieressä.

Kostutin kostuttaa hyvin ison tilan, yli 40 m2. Muutenkin siisti ja pieni laite. Olen kaikin puolin tyytyväinen. Verkkokaupalle kiitos tosi nopeasta toimituksesta kotiin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm extremely happy with the Philips Series 2000 Air humidifier, it is in every way better than my last humidifier.

The box is well designed and robust, it was in pristine condition on arrival.

It is slightly larger than expected but this is outweighed by the simple and elegant design. I have no issue with it looking out of place in any room in my house.

It comes in three parts. The top houses the electrical components and the controls, the bottom is an empty vessel to hold the water and finally a filter to be placed in the bottom vessel.

The instruction manual is easy to follow and we had no problems assembling and operating the item.

When operating the item is extremely quiet, so can be used in a bedroom or other quieter area. It does exactly what you would want it to do very well. Any irritating dryness in the air is efficiently hydrated and I'm happy to report both myself and my baby boy's coughs and dry throats have completely vanished.

A great item at a great price.

Previously the only option open to us was to leave a window open to let fresh air in, kinda defeats the point of central heating though!

The dehumidifier, changed all that though. Straight out if the box we were impressed with the size, design and weight of the unit, it happily sat in the lounge and bedroom and did not look out of place.

The noise the machine emmits is minimal and after a while you hardly know it's there. We found this the case for high and low settings.

The biggest benefit though is the improvement in the air quality in the house. No more headaches or dry throats in the morning and no more having to open the windows. There were no damp patches where the humidifier stood and no feeling that the room was full of moisture either.

I would say to anyone that sufferes with sore throats or headaches in dry conditions to definitely make this a priority purchase. We are glad we have one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier is close to perfect. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The pieces are simple and it is easy to clean. This aspect I really appreciate because there are no small crevices and hidden tunnels that can’t be cleaned. I love that it features an air mist instead of a water mist. Past humidifiers have left an annoying film on everything around them and this one does not. I like that it uses tap water instead of requiring distilled water. It looks great, it’s quiet, it has different settings including a timer. I love the design and it works well in small spaces because it automatically turns off when your desired humidity is reached or if the water level gets too low! I don’t have to worry if I’ve left an electrical unit on by mistake.The only thing that would make this perfect is if the reservoir were larger. It only holds about 8 hours worth of water. I’d like to run it while we’re home in the evening and overnight while we’re sleeping – but I don’t want to have to fill it up twice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put this in our boys bedroom there aged 2 and 7. It was so quite it didnt disturb any of them. It looks fab and has a good length cable also so no extention lead needed. Great sized water container so less refills, has the simplest on off butfon anyone could wish for. Very well written instruction manual but its that easy to use i dont think it would be needed.

Over all it worked brilliantly my children suffer with astma and regularly get chest infections so they chests start to rustle when the heating is on and the air is dry but since putting this humidifier on when i have the heating on they are totally diffrent. I wish i had this sooner now they are getting more sleep ever thank you phillips
