I have two of these printers and when the power supply went on the first one I bought another one as it was early covid days and I was deemed to be at risk. Whilst the first one was repaired i proceeded to use the newer one. Now the power has failed again on the newer one. My advice buy two if you don't want to be let down

I'm happy with the product.

Had to wait two months to get this from ordering, as it was stuck in the Netherlands, due to Brexit, but well worth the wait. Every thing works as advertised, I especially like the document feeder for copying or scanning multi page documents

Replaces my old MP 640 which was the greatest and also printed my DVD discs.

I enjoy using the Canon Tr8550 but it took my old brain a little longer to understand the modern terminology. Love the SD slot it is the best innovation yet.

I like the product overall. It was not the quality I had expected though price-wise.

I like the wi-fi and the possibility to print from my phone.

When using scanner the lid has not got any "gears", so it can hold itself up (f.ex. in a 45° angle), so you have to open up the lid to its max around 95° in order to use the scanner. That's a bit annoying user-friendly wise.

It prints fast.

Better location of the LCD screen.

When changing the ink, the lid also is a bit "rough". Weighs too much and if you're not careful, it makes a loud "slam" when closing the lid. It's not smooth.

I have been using my TR8550 for a couple of months. I have printed out a few hundred pages of black and white documents and just ONE A4 size colour photograph, yetI I have had to change the cyan cartridge TWICE and the yellow cartridge once as well as the large black and small black cartridges once each. This level of ink consumption far exceeds anything promised by Canon and I am seriously considering moving to generic inks.

Purchased as a replacement for an ailing existing printer ,yet to completly fail so no tyet set up, happy to review at alater date after setup and use.

Been using a few months now and I must admit this is the best printer I have had yet. It's used daily and has been very reliable.

I bought this printer for a month ago and I have just ordered one to one of my friends.

Super printer

Bought this 1 month ago, unfortunately, couldn't print from one of my laptops. Canon support came up trumps though and found the issue was related to my AntiVirus software.

This is my third canon printer..The thing I like most is individual ink cartridges and this was a major consideration for this purchase. So far I am pleased with the features,performance and quality of the product and look forward to several more years printing with canon

Whilst the printer is compact and light it also has a very plasticity feel to it. This printer is not as efficient or robust as our previous cannon, and does not have the print capacity as suggested. The paper tray, paper holder and control panel could all break very easily as they are not particularly good quality and again feel very plastic and lightweight. Would not buy or recommend if using as a printer for study, home working or printing off numerous documents.

The printer was easy to set up and is easy to operate. No problems at all with it.

Very pleased with the quality of printing. I like that it has separate ink tanks which makes the printing more cost effective. Very easy to set up, works with all my devices.

Its been good so far, I like its compactness and print qulaity etc is good.

I have only used the printer for printing and photocopying so far. I have not tried to print photos yet. I find a very good feature is that you can print on both sides of the paper without having to manually turn the paper over. I like the ability to print templates too.

Ok once set up but too many stupid questions regarding where paper is loaded and what sort. Only use one paper and have had to input data several times

Easy to set up and so far I am very pleased with my purchase.

Husband set up without too much difficulty.

I bought this printer to replace a Canon MX925 which had seen good service. Delivery from Canon was prompt and the product was as expected. I find having a back feed as well as a cassette takes a bit of getting used to, and the directions on which feed to use are a bit scant but overall I'm glad this printer is what I bought and I would buy the same

again.

The printer is somewhat lighter and flimsier than the MX925 but this does not detract from the performance.

Bought this a month o so ago to replace my previous Canon all in one (MX925). This printer does not seem to be as robust and has fewer features. Inks are very expensive!. Must say I am a little disappointed - the first time in more than 30 years of Canon printer buying.buying

Bought a while ago and done relatively little printing but seems fine so far

Setting up the printer was straightforward and readily attached to our internal network. Setting up laptops to use the printer was achieved using the online capability rather than the included CD and was straightforward. There is a lot of software downloaded which may or may not be useful depending on your needs so there may be some tidying up to do after installation. Only used the document printing so far and the output is first class. Feels a bit flimsy in some regards so if you have heavy handed users be aware.

I purchase this to help with working from home, I had read reviews stating this was one of the best which is true, printing is a little slow but this is such a minor detail and what can you except without an 'office' network.
