Misaligns prints, often fails to connect, etc.

This printer will print beautiful prints. HOWEVER make sure you have ALL the time in the world as it will take ages. It's temperamental, will make a lot of noise, ink goes in a blink (!) and its super pricey. Not worth the price.

Tulostin on kovin hiljainen, se nimittäin harvoin tulostaa mitään tulostusjonosta.

Windows ajoittain ilmoittaa, että tulostin on offline-tilassa. Tämä on kuitenkin hyvä merkki, sillä on 50% mahdollisuus että juuri silloin kun tulostimen ajuri valittaa, alkaakin laite tulostamaan! Upea ominaisuus!

Suosittelen tätä etenkin toimistokäyttöön, kun tulostinta on tarkoitus käyttää satunnaisesti tai harvakseltaan ja liittää se verkon kautta, koska etenkin silloin tuo 50% tulostustodennäköisyys tulee esiin.

I have had this printer a month and so have not yet used all its facilities. It is mainly used for office work but also the occasional poster. Fantastic quality print and quiet opperation

This is the second printer I have bought of this model and am very pleased with the quality of photo printing

For quality of prints, this printer is outstanding, particularly compared to the non-pro version. But ours broke just after 1.5 years, and Canon did sub-contract someone to come and fix it, but all they could suggest was replacing the power supply unit, which they did, and it made no difference. There is only 1 year Warranty if you dont buy direct from Canon, so we're having to buy a new printer now :-(

Very good quality and problem for installation first time

Bought for school Photography Department end of year exhibition printing. Quality is excellent but it is extremely temperamental. When it works it can't be faulted, but it doesn't like being moved, is very wasteful on inks when preparing to print, seems to have a very limited buffer as multiple student's work can't be queued - it has to be sent in small batches. Buyer beware - make sure it's fit for purpose.

I like to keep the family photo album updated and still marvel at the colours and clarity of each printed photo page.

Bought 2 years ago and delighted with print quality. Mostly A3+ prints for own display from large RAW files. It's expensive to run and I'm constantly replacing inks at nowhere near the advertised print numbers. Check compatibility as will not function with latest Mac software except with basic CUPS profile giving poor results.

The Printer is perfection

Bought nine months ago to replace Epson 2800. Prints usually come out first time with

Print Studio Pro plug in, saving paper and time. Any colour correction easy.

Can do a multi print showing variations of exposure and tints

I had an Epson printer SP4900 before this. So happy with Canon. For me it is much better

Bought to print my photos for sale. The quality of prints is fantastic. I've tried all sorts of media, from canvas, rag, bamboo, heavy duty gloss, etc. and i'm pleased with all the results. The only gripe is the high cost of ink cartridges.

Note also that it's not fast but perfectly good for producing high quality prints.
