Great for its price!Arvosana 4/5
Been looking for a 360 camera for a long time, and since the 2017 Gear 360 went from 250 to 199 euros, it's easily the most affordable in its segment. There's always going to be better, but given the price and its excellent integration with Galaxy phones, I do recommend this.
The photo quality is sufficient in daylight, and at night it's more than good enough for things like "tiny planet" shots. Live streaming is also fine, as the video will be compressed anyway for those watching on Facebook (haven't tried YouTube). Battery life is good, the small screen is handy, and the little pouch that comes with it is nice.
One gripe I do have about the Gear 360 is that the small screen and record-button on the camera face away from you unless you shoot selfies with it (the front lens is on the same side as the screen, and even if you swap (in settings) which one should be used as forward lens, the stereo microphones remain oriented according to the "real" main lens).
Anyway, at the current price, it does what I want, given I don't shoot professionally with it.
