Bought my beautiful Kitchen Aid mixer in a sale. I've wanted to have one for years as I've been using my old (different brand mixer) since the 1970s which still works! I've not used my lovely Kitchen Aid yet as we are due to move house so im keeping it safe in its packaging until I can proudly display it in my next Kitchen. I'll probably keep my 50 year old one for sentimental reasons.

I have always longed for one of these machines and it has certainly met my expectations. Only thing is I have to eat all the items I am making now! So easy to use.

I have only used my kitchenaid stand mixer only a couple of times so far, but I have already noticed a great improvement in the texture of my cookies. Looking forward to exploring the world of possibilities this piece of machinery has opened to me!

I decided to try and make some Selsy biscuits. It's a wet biscuit mix and l used the flat beater on speed 2. It mixed it ok, but l did have to use a spatula a couple of times to mix the flour up from the bottom. I tried making a crumble topping too. This was excellent using the same flat beater and speed 2. Bread next. It's a very sturdy piece of kit. I looked at the reviews for all the attachments..most were alright but l don't think l will be buying any in the near future. Happy so far.

Does everything expected of it, sturdy, easy to use and great build quality

I cannot recommend this product enough. Let’s start with the design; such a great bit of kit for the kitchen, looks great, comes with 3 attachments which is fantastic for someone like me who is just starting out. The attachments are easily changed and so easy to clean! Now for the best bit; I made my first batch of cakes with my new Kitchenaid.. WOW!! The difference from when I have used a generic mixer to the Kitchenaid was night and day!! My sponge was light, fluffy and moist, the icing I made was also very light! I have baked for years but this was the first time I made something I was massively proud of!! The taste difference was insane and I used the same recipe I have used in the past but it actually looked and tasted better!!! Such a high quality product and worth every penny!!

Very efficient in everything I need it for. It's also very pleasant and attractive to look at standing on my kitchen worktop.

Brilliant mixer wanted one for years finally treated myself and really wasn’t disappointed at all it’s capabilities are amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still early days but so far the mixer has not disappointed - previously I have used hand held mixer but this now makes the job much easier - going forward I want to experiment and make bread and would like the challenge of making pasta which I will need to buy the tiller etc….which fits on my machine.

So far things are going well.

I've wanted one for years and i'm not disappointed at all! It does everything I wanted and more, have already ordered several attachments to go alongside to make it a total all rounder. It feels sturdy and well made, its quiet to run and it's a statement piece in my kitchen

It’s very good and simple to use.. mixes small amounts well and importantly reaches the sides of the bowl!

Excellent product and really well made . I used it for the first time over the weekend and it is so simple to use.

Make kneading dough effortlessly.

It’s my 2nd one now as I wanted a red one but the 1st one is still going strong and is now going to my daughter who is equally thrilled! It makes mixing sponges a breeze, whipping egg white or cream, so quick and easy. I wouldn’t be without it.

very bad experience in had

I’ve always wanted one of these mixers but never got round to it till now. Tho I haven’t made many things in it, it is a fantastic piece of equipment and I love it.

Love the design and colour and does the job well

So far so good made 2 cakes 1 pie filling. Nice controlable speeds not to noisy mixes well. Need to scrape down during mixing I have the paddle with the blade. I thought using that would stop the need to scrape down but no, the blade spreads mix to sides of bowl

Wonderful! I did have a heavy duty lift bowl which I used for years in m Tea Room and had to sadly sell it due to a house move. After a lot of thought and encouragement from my wonderful husband I treated myself and family to a new 5kSM125 tilt bowl and have to say it is GLEAMING AND I LOVE IT. It is so simple to use, easy to clean, quality made as always with Kitchen aid and looks so classy in the colour I chose. I have made Cornish Fairings, Snicker Doodles and cakes and love using it. She is so quiet too and needs some attachments like a pasta maker which I will get for her soon. After a lot of research I had to get this one, ideal for small families and as I do not make a lot of bread or dough this tilt one is perfect. Heavy so she does not jump around. I was going to get the pouring shield but it is soooo expensive for what it is from KA I think I can do without it and if not I will get a cheapie to fit just in case. Apart fro that you only live once and if you can afford one get one it is a game changer.

Love it! Great machine,easy to use, good results every time!
