Absolutely satisfied with Canon EOS 77D. Great for beginners. Now I'm just searching for a new lens to experiment a bit more.

I got this as a present for a 'big' birthday - at my recommendation to my wife, after much research!

It was a choice between this model and the 800D - this one won out because a discount made the price pretty much the same!

It is a good weight and usable - I look forward to learning to use the semi-auto modes (Tv and Av) and the Manual (M) modes.... I like the photos I've taken so far, and definitely have no regrets on my choice of camera!

The one best camera at this price point. Yes it lacks some features like weather sealing and a headphone jack. But overall it is nice camera. The 24 Mp sensor is capable of doing the best job. Also the timelapse feature is one of the favourite feature of mine of this camera.

I bought the camera last Christmas as an upgrade from my 700d. It is easy to use, great in low light with excellent shadow recovery. It's fairly light weight and a good travel companion. I appreciate the electronic level which helps with wonky horizons. I have given it 4 stars, because it isn't weather sealed, it should be quite easy to add this feature for the price.

It’s such a amazing camera..however anyone can suggest worth lenses for this camera.

The camera is good but doesn’t seem to really work zoomed in or in macro. Not sure if mine is just faulty but if I’m zoomed in or up close the camera will just refuse to take anything popping up with a red square even though on the screen the picture I was to take is there and in focus. In macro I can’t seem to get the camera to even focus on what I want it to. When setting on timer for a group photo I have to try a few times as the camera doesn’t seem to focus the people. Really easy and good for sharing pictures but the images I can get are ones I could have just took on my phone quick. Am really gutted as I’ve wanted and saved up for a canon for years

The 77D is the latest in the Canon range, and definitely worth the extra money over the upper end of the Rebel range. With a dial on the left, Digic 7 processor and the latest firmware it's perfect for those who are new to DSLRs whilst still having plenty of performance for the keen amateur/semi pro. Blazing speed, crystal IQ, good in low light and HDR, brilliant AF for film work, and all in a package that - due to its EFS crop sensor nature - doesn't break the bank either now or when you're looking for different lenses.

It was very difficult to choose beteween 800D, 80D, 77D but I selected 77D because of... I don't remember anymore. Maybe newest processor. Autofocus is amazing. I've never had camera with such great AF. Shooting in low light gives great results, and stabilizer at lens works well. Admitted, old camera was at different genre ("super zoom") and rather old, so I have no past experience in this category but still, I'm impressed.

One thing I'm sorry about. I did not buy earlier. I have missed so many photos with my old toy camera.

I did a comparison of my photographic requirements between the EOS 77D/80D and 6D mk2. The 77D met them all. I'm highly impressed with focusing and image sharpness especially when using L series lenses.

The only let down was I had to buy a 3rd party battery grip to improve the camera handling in the portrait format. Come on Canon, produce a dedicated battery grip for the 77D.

i bought this for 2 month ago and i very like the focusing just only 0.03 seconds!!!

With the camera I have found it so easy to control more factors when taking photos. The controls, although exhaustive, are very easy to operate and understand. Changing settings in the middle of a session is very intuitive. The menu display is incredibly easy to use, changing settings on the touch screen making it so easy. The possibilities of this camera are amazing, low lighting pictures, harsh flaring lights, snow scenes, all easily adjusted for and coped with. The autofocus is incredibly fast, both for still and video...a real bonus. I've had my camera for a few months now and still haven't explored all the possibilities, but I'm very impressed.
