LG 38UC99-W 38" -näyttö

I bought this a week ago and I absolutely love it! As my wife (who is not a techie) said "your new monitor is awesome! But so is the price...."

Great Colors, inbuilt speakers were a surprise. Was considering the 34 inch but they didn't have usb C, (might still get the 34 for work) but as they say, go big or go home. Get this, you won't regret it. I know I didn't!

Excellent picture quality.

I love the extra size and the USB C port.

It has standard VESA mount so works with my monitor arm to free up desk space.

I tried 3 different monitors prior to this one (incl Samsung and Dell models). Even though the dream would be to have this monitor in 4k resolution rather than QHD, it is still spectacular.

Contrary to previous post, it works perfectly with my New MacBook Pro 15" on USB-C

I like the flexibility of the screen modes and the resolution to me is optimal. Menu navigation is fluent with the navigation stick hidden underneath the display.

When connecting my Razer Blade Stealth (2017) via USB-C, Windows 10 shows a message "USB device functionality might be limited" and the laptop is not being charged. This means I can only use the monitor for as long as a battery charge lasts. It's a pity but I will have to return it.

Hooked this up to the new MacBook Pro 13" base model via USB-C and while the laptop received power from the screen, the monitor would not recognize that anything was connected. The MBP can display on this monitor if connected via Display port. 2nd LG monitor in 2 days to have serious flaws. Not sure I will be trying a third time.
