Got one of this disk for a large-storage laptop, and Windows run terribly slow.
These turn out to use SMR (Shingled Magnetic Recording), even though an official manual mentions nothing of it. In random write test, IOPS fall from 70-80 to 2 in a few minutes, as drive runs out of cache. That's *TWO* write operations per second, while even a cheap SSD does about 10,000.
Still great for large file storage with speeds of 150-200MB/s, but a very poor system disk.
