[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a good TrackPoint. It serves its purpose well. I'm able to move my mouse cursor around comfortably and effortlessly thanks to the nubs. It sticks well, and doesn't do anything to fall off unlike the last one I had. The only problem I had was the lack of detail regarding the size.

I knew the one I had was worn down, but had no clue how much a new one increased the total performance of the mouse function. The cap was excellent as was the timely delivery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is not clear on your web site that there are two different versions of the caps. The first time, I ordered the wrong version, had to wait for shipment from China, and then discovered that there was another version which was needed for my wife's X1. Once the first order arrived we discovered that they didn't fit. We ordered the second (different) set and those work fine. Please provide a chart that shows which ThinkPads are compatible with which version. Note that picture above (provided by Lenovo) shows the first (wrong) set of caps.

If you are looking to buy this, you already know this is THE ultimate input device. Enough said

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When fit and functionally counts, get the originals. Tried substitute third party models, and they did not fit. Those were a complete waste. Lenovo's model was perfect, great shipping, service, and order communication.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement trackpoint caps look good, standard feel and shape, do wish they had the alternative shapes available, like the concave that allowed for firm finger feel and seemed to last longer as they don't rely on bump texture to last for traction.
