[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know about other users, but I’ve become adaptive to the Navigation track point for a long time. My first IBM was a X570, and I’ve followed through with every laptop from IBM/Lenovo for many years. The navigation track point is so much easier to use, with a mouse you have to maneuver AND then switch over to the keyboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My trackpoint started acting flaky. I thought I was going to have to buy a new computer, although mine was only 4 years old. The trackpoint red cap was looking a little worn, so I ordered the new replacement cap. Amazingly, all the flaky issues went away, and my trackpoint works like new again.

It needs to be replaced on an annual basis. The cape wear out and there is no reason not to replace sooner rather than later.
