Just a really good case for a good price. Canon g7x mk I with this case is one of the best value underwater set ups you can buy imo

Bought this to go with my daughter's camera for her holiday. She was able to take videos and photos underwater in the sea and pool. It was quite stiff on trying to open the case but was pleased in a way that it kept the camera watertight. It does make the camera much bigger to handle but was still quite straightforward. It was used only in shallow waters taking photos of coral and fish. I would not know what it would be like at deeper depths.
