This product is brilliant, I've only had one other ladies shaver so I just presumed they were all rubbish. I was WRONG! This satin shave prestige gives a very close shave leaving my legs smooth. Best used with shower gel or soap because it glides better

I bought this product since I have Philips corded epilator for 4 years and wanted a cordless one.

you need to apply it many times to shave, it is very weak product.

It cause red skin irritation.

Yllätyin positiivisesti miten sileäksi tällä saa jalat, ilman kipua. Bikinalueen kanssa tuntui että sänki jää valmiiksi, ja jaloissakin sänki kasvaa äkkiä. Kivuton, nopea, mutta epilaattoriin verrattaessa sänki on nopeasti kasvanut takaisin. Ei kuitenkaan harmita että ostin. Lisättäköön vielä että jalkojen iho on ollut parempi shaverin kanssa kuin mitä epilaattorin kanssa.

Very disappointed with this product.

Find it difficult to use, it has to be at a certain angle, the main fault with this shaver is the cutter edge is to far in to reach the edges of delicate areas. I then have to use the bikini trimmer head which does not seem safe to use in this area as this is very sharp. I have already caught my skin several times using this.

So very disappointed and would not recommend this to anyone.

After using this for a few months it now has decided to stop shaving, bit of a draw back in a shaver. It glides smoothly over the hair, leaving them in tact. Very disappointed as I have had a different Philips model which worked perfectly.

I was very nervous buying this after seeing these reviews and for the amount of money it costs - I was dubious about how useful it would be when I could just use a cheap razor to shave my legs.

When I first used it I was appalled and thought it was rubbish, but have gradually got used to the angle you need to hold it at to get the closest shave. I can shave both my legs; all warm being out of the shower in under 5 minutes... I am six foot and have a lot of leg so this is amazing!! My legs have never been so smooth...

For the finer hairs you sometimes have to go over them a few times to catch them all but I would definitely recommend this product. If you are nervous about the cost then maybe get the next model down which only has one foil. Hope this helped!

Bought one of these the first one rubbish the shaver was not removing hair and it was loud, Philips replaced it and same problem one of the worst shavers I have had. Don’t bother

Having chose this lady shave myself after looking around my husband bought it for me . I have used several over the years and had no problems other than them wearing out,I have been very dissapointed in this product . As a woman who has shaved for 30 odd years and dark haired I do have to shave quite regular but this Razer leaves me dissapointed. I can shave at night and by morning my legs need doing again .The only way I get a good shave is if I use disposable razers,so it's become a waste of money

I was sick of cutting my legs with disposable razors so I took my time to find an electric shaver that could give a close, pain- free shave, was lightweight and easy to use, could be used in the shower and was easy to re-charge with a charge that lasted a considerable time. I found all of these qualities in this shaver! It was also reduced considerably! Thank you Phillips. Please don't ever dis-continue this product!

I bought this as the price of blades for razors is ridiculous & although i'm usually sensitive to electric shavers, i decided this could be ok, being able to use wet. I actually prefer to use this dry as it does a better job. I have used for several months now & although it comes with attachments i'm finding i'm only using it on my legs for when i need that quick shave fix, it does surprisingly well on underarms for an electric shaver but i don't feel comfortable using in more intimate areas. It charges quickly & holds its charge well. It is a little tricky to clean the moving parts & since buying i've become aware that you can not buy replacement foils which is a big downside. Overall i'm happy i've found an electric shaver that does not irritate my skin but find it overpriced for performance

I've had this shaver for a few months, and although for the first few weeks it was alright, I now wish I hadn't bought it, as it's a really expensive average quality product.

After a few weeks of use it would intermittently stop cutting hair, and it sometimes pulls or pinches skin. I've used the attachments as I should, and regularly cleaned it.

Cleaning it properly is also difficult, and you can't clean all the hair out of the moving shaver parts, without breaking some parts off (which I discovered after breaking it).

Being about 4 times the price of the other ones I owned, I expected better.

This was lovely for the 1st few shaves but then it stopped "shaving". It would just glide over the hair without even cutting the hair. This happened to me TWICE. The first time I thought I was just unlucky and returned it for a replacement, but now it has happened again to my 2nd one. It's like the head isn't lined up properly so it not shaving. I always made sure the head was properly clipped into place. If you read other reviews you will see I'm not alone with issues with this shaver. At the moment I'm back to using a normal manual razor which is a shame because I had high hopes for this shaver.

This is an honest review.

Super close shave, as good as a razor shave without the mess & hassle! Very quick shave as the dual foil is like shaving the area twice with one sweep. The shape of the handle makes it effortless to grip at any angle! The spring loaded foils & curve makes shaving underarms easy & comfortable. Best of all is the pearl tip trimmer, previous electric shavers have always scraped my skin uncomfortably dry NOT THIS...super smooth glide & no scraping feel!!!

I often experience skin irritation when using a manual razor, but had no issues at all with this electric (when using either wet or dry) which is fantastic!

I've found that it isn't as close on first shave as a manual & I need to cover a couple of areas twice to achieve a really smooth result, but due to ease of use and comfort, I would definitely recommend!

It charges quickly is about the best thing I can say about this shaver which is disappointing when I remember how many great reviews I read about it prior to buying. I've been determined to keep going with it in the hope it would get better seeing as my partner shelled out a lot of money for it, but I've been using it now for 4 months and its still, in my opinion, rubbish. I've found I need to go over and over the hairs numerous times and all this seems to end up doing is leaving my skin very red (but not hairless unfortunately). It feels like there is too much foil which seems to stop the razor from doing its job. I've used Philips shavers since I was 14 and my last one (which was a VERY basic, small battery operated one, with 2 shaver heads and 1 foil) lasted me for about 10 years. No such luck of that happening with this one though.

I notice the previous reviews all say "used less than a month". If I had reviewed mine less than a month after I got it I would have given it five stars too. I was really impressed with it.

I have had mine a little over two months now and I recently felt it scratching the skin. Sure enough the foil had worn through. So, I went online to find a replacement and that is when I discovered the big problem with this product. There are no replacement foils available.

So, although the product is excellent while it is new, once the foil, which is generally regarded as a consumable part of a shaver, wears or become damaged you are stuck. It becomes a very expensive product for just a couple of months use.

Wish I had took the plunge and bought this sooner. Easy to use and excellent results. As a sufferer of PCOS facial hair is an issue, not any more

I was pleasantly surprised with this shaver having never used an electric shaver before! It's super smooth and great to hold due to its comfortable design. It comes with several extras for bikini trimming, cleaning, safety caps, skin stretcher and a storage bag which is great. I didn't get any problems with the shaver so I would definitely recommend!
