Excellent product. Could have done with this during covid as its far better than the add on to my Phillips shaver! It's as flexible as you can get and very easy to use.

Cuts well but it cannot be switched off manually. Also the swiping controls are a nonsense. They don't respond as the manual suggests they do. the whole control system is terribly thought out.

Have had an older Philips hair trimmer for over 10 years and think it’s the best I’ve used, but the battery won’t hold a charge now. Used this is couple of times now and the flexibility of cutting length is great.

Good clippers cut really well, easy to use and light. Charge quickly and last a good time before needing to be re-charged. Setting length display easy to read and easily set and stored, only slight issue is the digital swipe is quite sensitive and it is a little difficult to get the exact setting you require sometimes. There are more than 400 possible length settings as it goes up in increments of 0.1mm which is a little excessive/over the top, but would recommend, you get what you pay for.

I really want to love this product.

It glides through hair, facial and head with ease. This doesn't tend to be the case with most cordless trimmers, they tend to snag.

The only problem I have found is the comb. It's massive!

Like a lot of people have found, it does cut shorter than expected, but due to the size of the comb it's impossible to trim under your nose properly, and awkward under your chin, if not just going up or down.

The clippers work OK and cut well but it's difficult to cut the shorter lengths due to the length of the attachments making it hard to get to certain areas or giving a patchy finish due to contours on the head.

HAD A N OLD PHIIPS FOR YEARS , NO PROBLEMS , UPDATED TO NEW HAIR CLIPPER .

This is a lot lighter but not as well built as my original philips

Cuts and handles well. Menu setup ( for different lengths ) not intuitive.

Very pleased overall, the clipper is rather bulky and the cutting guide has a rather gimmicky electric depth adjustment, but it all works as it should - two months into ownership.

If you have short hair, 1-10mm it is USELESS! I tried and tried following Philips tips to get evenly cut hair at about 5mm, it's impossible, I was cutting for at least 10-15 minutes thinking I had got everything, looked in the mirror and was genuinely shocked as to how much was completely missed! The problem seems to be the well reported issue of the comb constantly clogging with your own hair and NOT clearing as the "Trim-n-Flow" suggests, you end up going over hair several times and hearing it cut, but it's not cutting the hair on your head, its cutting the clogged hair in the comb meaning you are constantly stopping to remove and clear the comb!

If you plan on buying this to cut your own hair DONT as again, it's virtually impossible! The unit is just far too long, and you end up hitting your shoulder and upper back trying reach those tricky to reach areas, it’s also very easy to drop and hold when trying to go around your ears.

I'm used to a 5 min cut with my 17-year-old Philips QC5170 180-degree swivel which are a breeze to use in comparison, why on earth have they stopped making a similar model?

Overall, this is the most disappointing product I have EVER had from Philips.

I had before 6th series and I was happy. The 9th series is much better. When you turn on is blocking it self that makes the machine much saver

I was initially drawn to the micro-adjustment. What was not clear on the marketing detail was that the micro-adjustment doesn't apply between having no guard and with the guard i.e. 0.5mm - 1mm - exactly where I wanted the variability. Without the guard the cut is too close at 0.5mm, and then with the guard it's too bulky to easily get 1mm evenly around the contours of my head.
