I bought this lens and very happy with the quality images

And the build is absolutely solid

This lens is super smooth has some lovely creamy bokeh to it and will get you shots that will take your breath away

I work with that lens for last 6 mounts and I love it !!! best documentary lens, very sharp very fast, very well build !!!!

I bought it two months ago and I very happy with it. Bokeh is really nice and sharpness and af are great too. The onpy problem is chromatic aberration. It's huge at f1.4 Totally unacceptable for me.

Bought my first prime with my new Sony A7r III. Loving the sharpness!

Distagon® T* FE 35 mm F1,4 ZA on kauniisti piirtävä yleislasi monipuoliseen käyttöön. Objektiivi on melko kookas ja suhteellisen painava, mutta tarjoaa helppokäyttöisyyttä ja upeaa kuvanlaatua.

Muiden arvosteluja lukeneena tässä lasissa on ollut jonkinasteisia laadunvalvontaongelmia ja jotkut käyttäjät ovat kertoneet saaneensa epäkeskoja yksilöitä. Jokin osa kuva-alasta on ollut suttua suuremmilla aukkoarvoilla, vaikka sen pitäisi olla terävää. Omassa yksilössä ei ole esiintynyt moisia ongelmia lainkaan. Lasi on terävä jo täydellä aukolla ja etenkin taustan piirto on todella kaunista. Objektiivi luo "ajatonta" ja kaunista kuvaa. Parhaimmillaan piirto on silkkisen pehmeää ja havaittavissa on kauniisti esiintyvää kolmiulotteisuutta.

Kromaattisia värivirheitä esiintyy jonkun verran (omassa yksilössä hieman vihreää) täydellä aukolla, mutta ei mitenkään häiritsevästi.

Mikäli korkeahko hinta ei hirvitä ja onnistuu löytämään hyvän yksilön (kannattanee testata etukäteen mahdollisuuksien mukaan) on tämä Distagon T*FE 35mm f 1.4 ZA parhaimpia yleislaseja Sonyn A7 ja A9 mallistoon.

I've only owned this lens for a couple of weeks and was keen to test out both its landscape capability and its ability to capture a close up when the lighting and texture asked you to take that shot. The in hand balance of the A7r2 with this lens attached is also impressive...

The FE 35mm F1.4 ZA is an outstanding lens, I would rate them the best portrait lens and is perfect for Weddings & Low-light.

If you're thinking of buying this Lens, you should. Yes it is very expensive, but you're going to end up having outstanding images.

I've been using the lens since the day I bought it and can't get it off my camera. Its just too perfect! The declick feature is just so convenient if I want to shoot videos. The lens is so sharp and the bokeh on this one is on unreal.

The 35mm FE format is great for group shots, street and just general photography. Evey one should have at least one of this length in their bag.

Tässä objektiivissa ei ole laadussa säästelty. Aukonsäätörengas ja rakenne ylipäätään niin tukevaa laatua, että valittaminen on mahdotonta. Mukana on myös videokuvaamisessa erityisen toivottava ominaisuus eli klikittömän aukonsäädön mahdollisuus.

Kuvat ovat tarkkoja jo 1.4 -aukosta lähtien, ei tosin välttämättä aivan kuva-alueen reunalla. Tietysti tuolla aukolla kuvatessa on tarkennus milleistä kiinni, joten tekniikan tulee olla kohdallaan. Bokeh on kaunista ja sopivan rauhallista. Monta työkeikkaa olen tällä jo hoitanut ja etenkin pressireissuilla tämä on toiminut melkein ainoana objektiivina viimeisellä muutamalla komennuksella.

Miinuspuoliksi en oikein osaa laskea mitään kuvaominaisuuksiin liittyvää. Objektiivin koko on tietysti A7-kameroihin nähden valtava, käytännössä aivan samankokoinen kuin esimerkiksi Sigman tai Canonin vastaavat SLR-puolella. Objektiivi on myös painava, mutta se on minusta oikeastaan vain tuota kokoa mukavasti tasapainottava asia. Toinen huono puoli on tietysti hinta, joka on kivuliaan korkea. Mutta, laatu maksaa ja valokuvauksessa saa aina maksaa ekstraa valovoimasta, näin se vain tuntuu menevän. Olen myös kuvannut paljon Sony FE 35mm F2.8 -objektiivilla, joka on myös erinomainen. Kuitenkin, mikäli valovoimalle ja tälle polttovälille on tarvetta, vaihtoehtoja ei natiivilinssipuolella tällä hetkellä oikein ole.

Kun tuosta hinnasta pääsi yli, käteen jäi äärimmäisen pätevä objektiivi, joka on hoitanut kunnialla monta lehti- ja mainoskuvauskeikkaa tähän mennessä. Pelkkää suositusta, reunaehdot huomioiden.

I bought this lens a few weeks ago for adding to my Landscape Photography kit, but also to take good quality images of my on the way baby and partner. I feel that this lens would be a good addition to fill the gap between my Sony Alpha Mount 20f2.8 and 50f1.7 lenses.

Yeah the lens is big, but the Image Quality that I have already seen from this lens is amazing.

When I first got it I walked around with the on the lens adjustable Aperture rotated to F1.4 and noticed quickly how precise the focusing was (I was getting blurry pictures at first!) However after a bit of playing and magnifying via the evf this was no longer an Issue and managed to get some cracking shots.

I, like many people were toying with the idea of this lens or the new Zeiss Loxia 35mm F2 manual focus. Although the Loxia would be similar IQ and a lot smaller and discreet, It never had the f1.4. I have never owned an f1.4 lens and wanted this from day one.

The autofocus for me, was never really important, as I don't usually use this for Landscapes, I prefer to use manual, but it is there If I ever wanted it.

I'll be honest, after a few hours of carrying the camera and lens, I wonder if the Loxia would have been a better choice, but then I get the images home and I see the quality, so I am also happy with the 35f14.

I have been using this lens for a few weeks and the results are excellent . It is really sharp and the bokeh is excellent . It is solidly constructed and I love the click of the F. Stops.

It is very heavy ,particularly ,in comparison to the 35mm zeiss FE f2.8. I have opted to keep both lenses,use the 2.8 for travel and the 1.4 at home. It might help matters if the 1.4 has OSS but it doesnt . ( neither does the F2.8 but it is as light as a feather)

I would also suggest that Sony add a depth of field chart to the technical information on the f1.4 lens on the sony .com website

Does produce great images, but it is too large and heavy to use as an everday lens. Compared to the Sony Zeiss 55 f1.8 it's not a order of magnitude different in terms of image quality and for the price I couldnt justify keeping the lens.

Testasin objektiivia A7s-kameralla, joten kaikista kriittisintä terävyyttä en ole päässyt arvioimaan. A7s:llä se kuitenkin on erinomainen heti täydellä aukolla, ja valovoimaisille objektiiveille tyypillinen pitkittäissuuntainen CA on melko hyvin kurissa. Epäterävyysalue näyttää kauniilta sekä tarkennustason etu- että takapuolelta. Automaattitarkennus toimi erittäin täsmällisesti A7s:llä. Kuvia pystyi ottamaan luotettavasti erittäin pimeässä 1/160, f1.4 ISO 64 000 ei tuottanut tarkennukselle minkäänlaisia ongelmia!

Miinusta tulee erittäin isosta koosta. Peilijärkkäri + Sigman 35 mm 1.4 on yhtä paksu kuin A7 + Sony Zeiss 35 mm 1.4. Hirveästi kokoetua tämä ei siis peilillisiin verrokkeihinsa tarjoa. Peilitön tarjoaa kuitenkin omat etunsa, kuten täsmällisesti toimivan AF:n ja esimerkiksi kasvo-AF:n.
