This printer is large and took some time setting it up. One strange feature which took me ages to find was that you have to tell it that you are using the rear feed but actually use the front feed, otherwise it will not take different size papers. How peculiar is that? It clanks a lot when starting up and I still haven’t been able to make it print using wi-fi.

It is good for A3, A4 and 6x4 prints

Pros:

• Good quality
• Easy to set up

Cons:

• No wifi-direct
• No screen(to tell you the ink niveau)

I have immediately noticed improvement in the quality of my prints.

I am upgrading my old printer and the quality of the images printed on this machine is incredible! When people say photo quality, it is not always so but this actually is just like a lab printed image. Totally delighted with it.

Had previously owned a pro 100 but decided to upgrade my printer and went for the newer model the pro 100s very happy so far with the printer

Kyllä tämä tekee sen minkä lupaa. En osaa sanoa onko tämä nimensä mukainen pro-vehje, ainakaan mustekasettien koko ei oikein viittaa siihen, aika pientä tavaraa ovat. Mustetta tuntuu kyllä kuluvan lupailtua selvästi enemmän. Tulostimen koko sen sijaan on melko suuri, ei varmaan ihan pienimpiä markkinoilla. Tulosteet ovat kuitenkin hyvää laatua.

I bought this machine a couple of month ago and was so disappointed when it didn't work properly. I spoke to Canon who told me to take it back to John Lewis where I bought it. They got me another one and I am so glad I wasn't put off by the hitch. The print quality is amazing, the speed is impressive and I am happy with the ink usage, which is not at all bad. I have to say setting it up took a while but worth the time spent. yes it's a big (ish) machine but thats insignificant in light of what it can do. Is it value for money, in my view yes. I am very particular and have high expectations. The Pro 100S has exceeded all of mine.

need new ink every 10 prints ,it cleans its self all day wasting ink tel them up said they get back to me never did. I get around 10 A3 PRINT TO OUT OF THE BLACK INKS WORK OUT TO MUCH MONEY NOT GOOD. THE QUALITY GREAT IF YOU CAN LIVE WITH THE HIGH COST OF INK

Local Camera shop is right, ' great products, terrible company'.

The yes kniw answer below doesn't really work, given the lousy service if I was going again I would probably buy the Epson

I have bought two Printers

I got this printer a month ago and very pleased with it. I needed a printer to print my artwork and this model is more than capable of coping with the medium to heavyweight paper required for this task. This printer is a real workhorse and I would recommend to photographers and artists as it will not disappoint! Only drawback is it doesn't scan but I can live with that hence four stars for features.

Bought for home use as a printer for both spread sheets and photographs.

Great quality prints on Canon Photo paper but the downside is the number of times the printer does a cleaning cycle to the point where I am reluctant to turn the power on- I use a lexmark printer now for my everyday printing and save the Canon for special occasions.

Pros: Produces excellent A3 prints. Good value for money. Prints CD covers. Is wireless.

Con: Ink runs out quite quickly and is expensive to replace 8 inks. Is very heavy. Set up instructions could be clearer.

I bought it a few weeks ago after quite a lot of online research, i'm not so easily pleased but on this note i am ecstatic to say the least.

great tool for my printing from soft landscapes to my hi res motorsport prints . `only thing is ink is a little pricey but always use canon ink as its not worth using cheaper rubbish . but if u unsure about the size I will say they are big very big

Great image quality and pretty quick for an A4 print and quiet considering its size which is big . So fare the ink usage is pretty good ,the only real drawback is the connection to a wi fi net work which is crazy ,the instructions are pretty poor and you will need to try several times to get it to work!

Have joined a camera club and had difficulty getting rid of colour casts with my previous printers (Epson and HP). The canon printer produced excellent prints straight away and I am now very successful in my club and inter club competitions.

I bought the printer about 8 months ago and from the first print I was a lover. The colours are so vibrant and the detail that is printed means I am having to look at my photos closer before I send them to the print. Only downside is the price of ink.

Print shop quality at home provided you use canon papers

It was a big purchase for me but I am glad i went with the Pro100S, the print quality is excellent and rather than using Adobe CC to print my work I use the Canon Print Studio Pro (which is found under the 'automate' setting ion Adobe as it allows me to do a 'pattern print' and get the print I want. My only slight gripe is the capacity of the ink tanks being a little limited and the price is going up rather than down, but I suspect that is the weak pound at the moment.
