I've had this lens now for just over six weeks. I was a bit dubious at first as there are many, many reviews out there which say how terrible it is. However, I needed a lens to give me greater focal lengths, and I didn't want to pay in excess of four figures for it, being an amateur and getting back into 'real' photography, ditching the camera on the phone for fear of dropping it as I fiddled to change focal lengths, and preferring the opportunity to take photos which put me in charge.

I'm glad I made the purchase. OK, so at f/4 I've had to up the ISO on the camera on occasions, but overall, this is a very light, capable lens providing opportunities to capture distant objects. I've taken some wildlife photos at the 300mm end and when zooming in on the photos on my laptop, the quality of the image is still more than acceptable for my needs. As someone keen on photography, but unable to justify spending big money on my kit, I'd recommend this product.

Bought this to photograph wildlife. I have not been disappointed. Great range with the zoom. Arrived carefully packaged and with quick delivery time.

I purchased this lens to capture images across the Thames in London. The zoom was amazing a gave me the ability to capture the top is the Shard clearly, despite poor light. It is certainly a purchase I would recommend.

Super lens. It does what it says in the sakes blurb. Been able to get up close and personal with wild life. Just a quick hours try. But, very pleased with initial results. MF. easy to use. AF quite quick but a little noisy. Not scared anything away so I can work with it.

Bought this lens about 4 weeks ago for my EOS 2000D. I wanted to take photos of my kids playing football/cricket etc. After a little bit of trial and error I am really happy with the choice! The features are good and it gives great quality action shots. The lens is a little heavy therefore I'll have to use the tripod for support. Bought from Canon and the service was excellent!
