Good versatile lens that’s easy to carry and put in your pocket

The delivery was on time and the lens was well packaged. I've taken quite a few photos with it and I've been pleased with the results. The build quality - as I have come to expect from Canon - is excellent.

Have been wanting a pancake lens for a while to build up my lenses for my 2000D and it works perfect. Definitely the best lens to use for street photography & being discreet. Definitely recommend buying from the canon store. Would use them again.

Close focus distance is great, STM focus is quick in auto and manual mode, will use it for infrared projects using a 1300D / APS-C but also for my Canon R Video, where I can either enable super 35crop or shot in 4k which is also cropped, it has a fast aperture compared to my usual lens 24-105 RF f4 I use normally for video. It is almost as small as a lens cap and a bit smaller than the 40mm full frame version. The field of view is very pleasant at around 36mm with the APS-C taken into account. Will also test it on a M50 soon!
