Brother HL-1110 -lasertulostin

Very happy with laser printer, very convenient and economic to print letters and documents, unlike inkjet printers it is very reliable product.

I have purchased a number of Brother laser printers in the past and have always been delighted with ease of set up and quality of print. This small laser printer suits my needs and was very competively priced .

While setting up the printer I was astonished to find there was no printer cable included in the package. I consider this to be penny pinching by Brother and delayed my setting up as the cable had to be sourced separately. It was only a few pounds but is an integral part of the system.

I needed a simple (non wifi) printer which is portable and this printer fits the bill.

Change the roller is also quite straightforward. I would recommend it to people like me who are not digitally expert

My existing printer developed a 'drum fault', where replacement or repair would have been excessive, over the cost of the 1110, especially as there was no way of telling if it was printer or drum at fault.

Purchased this as a replacement, I didn't have stable wifi in my location so only needed USB connection.

Quality is as good as the 1210, no speed issues or connection issues so far, which I suffered with on the 1210, plus all the other features of the 1210 are present such as print on both sides

Size is compact so doesn't take up too much desk space.

Unbelievable price for a good quality Black only printer. Exactly what I was looking for as a home printer. Photo quality printer are very expensive to run and the Supermarket photo printing from memory stick is far superior at a fraction of the price. This little printer does the job of printing document quickly and efficiently, at a price per print which is reasonable. The likes of Canon charge the earth for ink cartridges which makes the process unviable for home use.

The replacement toner cartridges are reasonably priced for around 1500 pages per cartridge and it will take me years to print that many sheets. Excellent little home printer and no problems so far albeit only owned for two weeks. I would recommend this printer for Home use for Black only documentation printing.

My old Brother HL-2140 developed a fault, which would have been too expensive to repair. I did a little research to find a replacement and discovered this little printer, at an unbelievably low price. I installed it and it's simply brilliant! Good print quality and plenty fast enough for my home needs - definitely a bargain buy. Highly recommended.
