Sony SEL50F18 E50 mm F1.8 OSS -objektiivi, musta

Absolutely amazing glass! Sharp! Great bokeh! Mega slick autofocus!

My second favourite lens. Unfortunately my first love is my Sigma 60-600. Wish Sony had one.

Love this lens. I can’t expect more in this price range. With my Sony A7v , this is a perfect cost effective addition for my portrait photography. It might be bit noisy when searches for the focus which can be a downside when it comes to videos.

Hinta ja laatusuhde on kyllä kohdallaan tässä. Suosittelen

Lovely light weight lens, works well, clear images, sharp focus, f/1.8 is fast.

Focus motor is slow but for the price its very good.

This is a great budget priced lens with an amazing angle of view, 50mm is close to the way the human eye views and people see things in life. It's a great lens for taking day to day snaps or movie work and other types of photography. This could be used for street photography, portraits and movie work.

Fantastic back up lens. Very affordable and does the job. Even better with the discounted price...great vfm

The Sony FE 50mm F1.8 is arguably the best budget lens at this price point for Sony full-frame cameras. It delivers great portrait photos with beautiful background blur (bokeh) thanks to its wide f/1.8 aperture, which allows for excellent subject isolation and low-light performance.

However, it does come with a trade-off — the lens produces noticeable focus noise while autofocusing. While this might not be a deal-breaker for photography, it’s less ideal for video work, where silent operation is crucial. So, while it can create great videos, I wouldn’t recommend it for video recording due to the noise.

That said, for the price, it’s a fantastic lens for anyone looking to shoot sharp, vibrant portraits without breaking the bank. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and an excellent addition to any beginner or budget-conscious photographer’s kit.

I used Canon for 25 years, one day I tried a Sony camera (a7RIV) and never looked back, sold all my Canon gear and am now 100% dyed in the wool Sony. The Sony 50mm f1.8 is a little gem of a lens, light, sharp and inexpensive. What’s not to like …. 5 ⭐️ …. 10/10

I bought the lens for landscape and portrait. Very happy with the outcome.
