I bought it recently, and I'm very happy with this lens.

I'm a first time sony user, i bought my first camera through sony. I really loved the way you treated your customers. Thankyou so much

This is my first "expensive" lens, I had a Tamron 70/300 lens and I liked it - I thought the build quality was good and the results were fine. Then I got the SONY 70/200 and straight away it was in a different league. The build quality is unmatchable, if Rolle Royce made lenses, this would be it. I live on a bit of rock poking out into the Bristol Channel, we get some outstanding sunsets and sunrises, I've taken thousands of photos of these, people liked them. I took some with the SONY lens and shared those, everybody could see the difference, vivid oranges and reds, the orange reflects on clouds, the sun's reflection spreading across the water. I knew straight away I'd never use the Tamron again, I sold it a week later and now I'm hoping to upgrade to the f2.8 version of this lens.

A good performance long range zoom lens, even it is the first version.

Always skeptical when choosing a Lens but the Guys at the Sony Centre in Falkirk were on the ball and couldnt have been more helpful and explained everything and you can see the difference with the standard lense to the FE 70-200mm F4

I bought this lens just a month ago, but i already falling love with. it was my dream since its came out many years ago, but i could'nt afford one until now. the lens itself not to heavy, not to big. easy to handle. the oss is great 1/10 by hand held and the image is still not blurry. The image quality is excellent. Focus is very quick, silent and accurate.

Great for video at conferences. My go to lens for the garden wild life.

Good lens, good product, sharp no lens flare, I would definitely buy it again

Keveys ja pieni koko on erinomainen, kuten myös piirto ja terävyys.

Ostin tämän 7.8.2023, joten kuvauskeikkoja vielä eio oikein ole, mutta testien ja arvostelujen perusteella uskon olevani tyytyväinen ostamaani.

Great build quality, well balanced, nice features, great internal focusing is fast, quiet and accurate, very good optical quality, great price for what you get.

Just spent a few hours running this lens through its paces at a military families day with plenty of photo opportunities. Performed like a dream. Left the lens foot at home to lose weight. Internal focusing was a real boon. Good robust lens hood worked well in bright sunlight. Recommended.

Really good lens, I don’t need the F2.8 and this F4 is great and very sharp, using it on both full and crop sensor cameras A6000 and A7iv. Well made and having a 72mm thread all my filters fit. Moved to Sony from Nikon and to be honest I’m very happy, Nikon lost out as in many ways just seem to be falling behind with their mid range cameras, for what I need anyway

I have owned this lens for a few month now and what a buy. Sharp vibrant images. It’s my go to lens.

I purchased the lens because it is a follow on from the standard lens and takes you up to 200mm. I like the internal focus and zoom which prevents dust being drawn in.

I would like to have bought the GM version, however, I couldn't justify the much higher cost. I'm impressed; much sharper through the focal range than I expected, when used on my Alpha 1. Not very heavy and easy to handle. Focussing is fast and accurate. Highly recommended.

Great lens , only had a short time but so far it’s great .

I've had this lens for a year now, it's sharp and a good compromise to having several lenses on a shoot. Lost a star as I've noticed a bit of dust has gotten under the front element. How it happens who knows but doesn't appear to affect the picture quality.

Only had this lens for a few days so not been able to make proper use so far but build quality and the general feel of this lens is excellent. It's lightweight and simple to use.

I've only had the opportunity to use this lens on one project and, as yet, haven't had the time to closely review the images. I can say that, due to a miscalculation on my part, the lens, camera and myself were covered in sea water. The lens continued to function through the rest of my shoot. A wipe down with tap water was necessary at the end of the shoot and the lens continues to function as designed.

Bought this to go with ny A7Riiia and I'm ot disappointed, the quality is spot on along with the Images produced, also more compact than what I thought it would be.

I deliberated over the f2.8 v f4 for some time, glad I choose the f4 version, I could not justify the price difference, love the separation on this glass, quick release tripod collar, button set up the lens body. would really recommend the f4 version if your sitting on the fence with like me the cost difference.
