I have enjoyed the 22" smokey mountain cooker for almost 17 years. The 14" smoker has all the excellent attributes of easy, consistent, predictable, low-maintenance performance at a scale more convenient and fuel-efficient for smaller, faster, more frequent meals.

As usual Weber has created a great well made product. I used it to smoke a Thanksgiving turkey and to everyone in our house it was a great success. My son even told me that it was like it used to be when he was growing up.

Husband loves this smoker, and it’s still going strong after 10yrs! All kinds of meats and cheeses have been smoked for small family gatherings.

While it's a great little smoker it lacks height, which does not make it easy to add charcoal or wood or see how much you need. The hatch to add wood/charcoal is very flimsy and comes off easily as it not heavy and does not have a chain of some sort to hold. Would like to see something sturdier.

I am happy with the product with one exception. There is no hardware fastening the base to the upper section. The smoker is tall & narrow & if you move it, it tips readily, falling apart & spilling ash everywhere. When I suggest hat Weber add a clip or other hardware to secure the sections, th.e answer was that it wasn’t really meant to be moved.

I have the 18 inch and bought a 14 inch for travel and it holds its temp just as well as the bigger one. Love it for smaller smokes and for transport.

This is great design and works well. The double stack design makes it hard to baste or make additions diring the process. The 14" is a little small but I can get 3 racks of baby back ribs in it if I cut them each in 3rds. It is a hard to keep heat for 12hrs for a pork shoulder, and adding coals is difficult. This probably not an issue with the larger sizes. Will be doing a pork belly this weekend.

This grill is a great size for 2 people, and its perfectly capable of producing some great BBQ! I think if you are just starting, this is a good size/price. After about 3-4 hours of cooking, I find that the grill has a difficult time staying hot even with the dampers fully open, and it also just doesn't hold a lot of charcoal, so for really long smokes, you will need to add more in the middle. This is where the size becomes a problem for me, because it fills up with ash so quickly, after adding a second batch of charcoal the airflow is very limited unless you also empty it mid-smoke. Overall though, i have been very happy, and the meat i have smoked on this has convinced me to upgrade to a larger model. Also, when I bought the grill, it initially came with a defective part that made the grill unusable. However, Customer service was very helpful, and they got me the replacement part within a couple of days.

This little smoker performs well for its size. Have used it a couple times with great results. As a beginner, I've found the learning curve pretty forgiving. Do your research on what size you need, you will not fit a whole brisket or uncut rack of ribs on the 14". Fits a pork butt perfectly.

This is a very nice smoker for beginners (like myself). It is easy to assemble and set up. Make sure to read the instructions completely!!

Wonderful little smoker that does a great job , brings out the flavor in different meats

Awesome product from Weber! I have owned several different types of grills over the years. I typically grill meat over direct heat and this is my first experience smoking the big meats with indirect heat. The quality of the Weber Smokey Mountain is excellent. The size is perfect for my family of four, I chose the 14” model. My first cook was two racks of baby back ribs which turned out great. Can’t wait to smoke a brisket this weekend.

First time trying to smoke anything so I decided on this. It's easy and producers great flavor. It will hold a 5-6 pound brisket or 8 pound pork butt no problem on the top rack. Great purchase.

Good little smoker. Works well for my needs. Not for larger projects but if you just want to smoke a pork butt or two, smoke pork belly into bacon, smoke a chicken, it does the job. End up using less charcoal.

This thing works great, I love the size and like a simplicity of this unit. We call it R2D2.

Bottom vents don’t open or Close easily. Other than that works well

I've had this smoker for about 4 years now. This smoker has been sitting on my back patio, without its cover and mostly unused for about a year, with water and charcoal in the bottom this thing should be well rusted out by now. I cleaned it up with some dish soap and a green/yellow sponge today, and to my surprise this smoker looks absolutely brand new! The black finish looks the same as it did the day I took it out of the packaging and the bottom was in great shape for the way I've been treating it. Weber, I promise from here on, I will never purchace another grilling product that does not have your name on it. I am extremely happy and glad we purchased this from you. Thank you for your excellence.

Great little smoker, a little bit of a learning curve, but it makes great food easily.

I got my WSM to be my portable smoker since I own a large one, but since I first lit it, it has become my main smoker. I used to burn between 4-6 kgs of coal now I do 1 kg and it lasts for more than 8 hrs. I use it to grill as well as to smoke and despite it seems the cooking area is small, it holds easily 2 -3 pieces of meat to grill or 1 big chunk to smoke.

Great little smoker but a challenge to keep temperature hot in a cold (winter) climate

Great smoker, easy to use, fairly easy to clean up. It helps I already have a Weber iGrill with 3 probes, so keep an eye on smoker temp and meat temp.

This is a great little smoker, that has a little more capacity than I anticipated. Simple, quality, good craftsmanship; overall a great way to get started in the world of smoking meals.

Smokey Mountain Smoker 14 is well designed, well built and works well. Totally perfect.

at this time i have used it 3 times since i bought it all satisfied with the performance of the weber smokey moutain 14 inches would definitely recommend it
