Excellent value & designArvosana 5/5
This product ranks about mid-level with regard to price, but for the average user there is no need to invest in pasta machines which cost over double the price, unless you are specifically buying the brand vs. machine. Likewise, many machines are available for 1/3 the cost, however the pasta machines at the very cheap end are not sturdy and do not last.
This Italian model is extremely easy to use and also comes with various pasta recipes. The recipes are the only clear part of the instruction manual, as the "installation" instructions are about as useful as an Italian singing in your kitchen. Fortunately the machine does not actually require assembly; common sense (plus staring at the picture on the box) is all you need.
The design aesthetic is important to me, and it's one of the prettiest machines out there. Similar pasta machines in the same price-range have plastic parts (particularly the handle), whereas the Imeria is all metal and wood.
