It's a good TV - only issue is the pixelation when the picture is relatively dark

My Sony TV is two years old, and yet it is incompatable with Amazon Prime. Several attempts at creating an account ended in failure. Total waste of three hours

I bought this TV around 2 and a half years ago and initially it worked perfectly fine, good quality sound and picture. However after a little over 2 years this changed. There seems to be a problem with the built in Freeview. Often when the tv is on it will just show a black screen with nothing on except the channel title at the top of the screen. sometimes the picture will come back for a period of time and sometimes not, its highly erratic. I have tried doing a reset and re-tuned the channels but that didn't work. Looking online a number of people have had similar issues. The HDMI and the iplayers channels work fine with no issue so it seems to be just the built in Freeview channels. Why is this happening? Spent a lot of money on this tv and it hasn't even lasted 3 full years....

I have had it for about 2 years now and somehow an insect has got behind the screen and has left a mark that i can't rub off, bit of a shame, but apart from that i love it!

It's a good instrument. Sound quality could be improved though. And of late, when changing from the skybox to the tv it's necessary to pull the power plug from the socket to cure it "bluescreening"

Bought it 3years ago and is still working brilliantly.

This is my first smart TV and we have owned it about 2 years. Everything is easy to operate and works without fuss. Although a relatively inexpensive smart TV it satisfies all our requirements and sits nicely in our sitting room, without dominating the space. Very pleased.

I bought this 2 yrs ago and still struggling to update any latest updates or apps on the TV .i am not whether all updates are received on my TV

I bought this online in 2013 and it has never worked. There has only ever been fuzzy white lines, so I can't even go through the set-up procedures.

Sony manufacturers consistently quality products and their TV's are exceptional. This is my second 42" TV, and both have excellent pictures.

The wifi "internet" connectivity for this module is fantastic and a really useful asset.

I have no hesitation in recommending this module.

bought it 18 months ago brilliant tv for the price have a samsung 40" led smart tv this sony is well better in all departments

I bought this over a year ago and I am just beginning to appreciate the content I can access online directly through the tv.

Great tv, excellent value. A little complicated to navigate though.

Great tv half the price of my previous panasonic tv with a better picture and sound which is a lot better than most flat screen tv's,

if it lasts more than 3 years and sony's customer service are not rude and unhelpful like panasonic's I will be chuffed,

my first sony tv and I would definitely consider another sony.

Bought a couple of months ago, a good interface, all quickly and clearly, quickly activated. the picture quality is great! Movies downloaded from the Internet to the poor quality of it as a license!

TV purchased more than six months ago, totally happy with it. Interesting design, the frame is almost negligible. Excellent build quality. Picture above any praises, DLNA works great. Input lag when using the PS4 or PC is minimal.

There are also disadvantages

1 One USB Port

2 Only two HDMI this is clearly not enough

3 Do not handy remote

I bought this last november.Its fantastic!SONY forever!

I bought it on the end of 2014 year, easy to install, update and good picture quality in auto-mode.

I didn't expect that SONY will surprise me that much! This TV is the best quality stuff it is like a window opened for new world. I just love it!
