I bought it 2 weeks ago and my gym videos are transformed

This lense hasn't come off my camera since I bought it. Produces amazing photos

I have the Sony A6000, I purchased this with the kit lens, I then purchased the Sony18-135, but wanted a prime lens, after watching all the reviews on YouTube, I settled on the 35mm 1.8 lens, and have not regretted it whatsoever, I take the camera with me whilst walking, and have taken some fantastic photos, plus I keep it in the front of my coat, to protect it from cold, and the size is very handy as well, love it.

This is an excellent lens but rather expensive. Shop around and it can be bought cheaoer.

My favourite portrait lens. Very sharp and fast, excellent in low light conditions, great results shooting videos.

Bought this lens as first lens for a6000. very pleased with pictures so far but not taken many yet.

Lasi tekee minkä lupaa, tarkennus ja kuvanvakain toimivat hyvin ja napakasti ainakin oman a6300 runkoni kanssa. Yleisvaikutelma ja mekaaninen laatu ovat myös hyviä. Kooltaan lasi on suunnilleen samankokoinen kuin Sonyn kroppikameroiden 18-50 kittilasi. Valovoima riittää hämärässä ja jos tykkää blurrista taustasta, sekin onnistuu hyvin tämän lasin yleisimmässä käyttötarkoituksessa, henkilökuvissa. Kuten Sonyn muutkin lasit, hinnaltaan tämäkin on melko suolainen.

En paljoa ehtinyt vielä käyttää, vaikuttaa hyvältä lasilta.

Only a dabbler in photography but having this 35mm lens on a crop body sensor camera gives me a 1:1 with what I see. I did think of the 50mm Prime but as an indoor / general walk about lens this 35mm is small enough and gives great detail. Using it indoors is superb as it offers more than the 50mm for my needs.Works well with the A6500

Pros, Small lens with OSS, big enough aperture, nice bokeh, sharp photos when subject are near.

Cons. I wish it was 30mm, also wish it was sharper when subject are further away, slightly high price.

But, still the best lens I have and I will surely recommend.

Really pleased with the product. Its 52mm equivalent on 35mm film camera has taken be back to my original Olympus with 50mm lens, and I am enjoying moving my feet to get great shots! Fast focus and lots of light in the lens is great

I bought this lens last month and find that the quality of the photos from it are really nice. It's great for low light as well. Really happy with it on A6000

Hiljainen ja nopea tarkennus. Vakaaja toimii hienosti. Valovoimainen ja laadukas. Parempi kuin oletin hinnan perusteella. Negatiivista sanottavaa ei ainakaan vielä ole.

I really appreciate the compact design and solid build of this lens. Its combo with an a5000 can easily fit into a jacket pocket.

The image quality is great overall. SEL35f18 features remarkable sharpness and clarity.

The only negative about it are noticeable axial chromatic aberrations which are visible at maximum aperture as green edges around high-contrast objects behind the focus point and magenta edges in front of it. Most of the time you won't notice this on portraits, but you should keep this in mind when shooting wide open under bright light.

This lens is a bit of a luxury. I was able to justify it when my SELP1560 was mugged and I needed a lens in Japan. It gets rave reviews and I am not disappointed. I have added one photo chosen at random that shows the results hand held at f1.8 and 1/60sec.

I wanted a sharp lens with a similar view to the natural eye which was small and light but gave a sharp image. This one meets all requirements, it's a great lens for those dark places and when you want to be unatrusive.

Recent convert to E mount with the twin lens a6000 kit (16-50 and 55-210 lenses) these can take good quality images, but the 35mm f1.8 really nails it for sharpness and low light work. Would ideally like to see a shorter design however it's not a big problem..

Linssi on hintaisekseen hieman tyyris, kannattaa miettiä josko Sigman 30 mm tai täyden kennon FE3528 olisi parempi, mikäli Sony-maailmassa aikoo viettää aikaa.

Muutoin linssi onkin ongelmaton, hiljainen tarkennusmoottori ja tarkka. Omaan silmään kuvat näyttävät paremmalta kuin em. Sigma ja ylimääräinen valovoima ja vakaaja auttaa tilanteissa, joissa valoa ei ole ihan tarpeeksi. Ehdottomasti yksi parhaita APS-C E-linssejä.

I bought this along with an A6000, and am very impressed with the build quality as well as the images. AF is very quick, and OSS is a major bonus.

The bokeh at 1.8 is pretty creamy too

I have this lens since 2 weeks now and I have to tell that I am absolutely amazed. Now you have to believe me that I also own the zeiss 55mm f 1.8 which is one of the sharpest lenses at the moment and comparing with it this lens performs very well. Not to mention the OSS. For the value I strongly recommend to buy this lens to your arsenal.

Hieman edullisempaan hintaan SEL-35F18 heikkouksia ei tulisi tuijotettua jälkikäsittelyssä aivan niin kriittisesti, mutta kaiken kaikkiaan kyseessä on loistava yleislinssi.

• Sopiva koko ja paino
• Jämäkkä ja tyylikäs rakenne
• Tarkka myös isolla aukolla (f1.8)
• OSS vakaaja tekee sisäkuvauksesta hauskaa
• Nopea ja hiljainen tarkennus (loistava videokuvauksessa)
  
  

Miinukset ovat oikeastaan samoja kuin muilla nopeilla prime-linsseillä:

• Hinta on melko korkea
• Vihreä/violetti -fringe täydellä aukolla kirkkaissa, epätarkoissa alueissa
• Joissain tilanteissa bokeh on jopa häiritsevän utuinen

Yllättävän pienikokoinen. Kuvanvakain mahdollistaa videon käsivaralta, mutta ikävä kyllä kameran (NEX-5N, VG20) videotarkennus ei toimi yhtä hyvin kuin 50mm f/1.8 lasilla (välillä kamera heittää tarkennuksen ihan pieleen). Kuvien ottamisessa ei ongelmaa. Ei ole aivan yhtä terävä kuin 50mm, mutta toisaalta vaihtoehdot ovat vähissä jos haluaa 35mm lasin kuvanvakaimella.
