Very thick material that should last a very long time. Assembled and finished very well.

Good quality works great and fit perfectly on grill.

I’ve been using this system for many years and it’s well engineered and very versatile. I currently have the pizza stone and griddle inserts and they work well. My only issue is with the plating on the metal which doesn’t hold up as well as in years past. After a period of time the grate is subject to corroding.

Weber charcoal grills are the best. Heats up much faster than the cheap junk I had prior.

This is my second grate in 2 years. The outside ring is fine but for some reason the center always rusts.

Replacement to keep my grill going another 8 years in the Florida sun!

Why can I NOT purchase the center grate with a cast iron circular grill...? I purchased one in the past...

Cheap SS center does NOT hold the heat as well as cast iron. Period

With the removable center I can now use the griddle and I wanted to upgrade to a better cooking system. The middle can be placed giving a cross pattern of the grill marks and with the option of the griddle - you get a better grilling game.

Exactly what I needed, I started to get into indirect heat and decided to upgrade my grilling grate to the Premium.

I came up with a system to use this grate with tripod and charcoal starter.

It does its job! Just wish it would come in stainless steel!

Weber quality seems to slipping. Multiple parts of the grill were easily bent and dented. I love how webers cook, but the last several I’ve owned don’t have a lid that actually fits. And one drop to the ground completely deforms the handle and shape.

It makes charcoal grilling so much easier. I used it a couple times already. once for the cone in the middle and another time with the side baskets. Very usefull.

No better product than a Weber kettle! Best money I ever spend and easy to find replacement parts to keep the grill clean and looking new Don’t waste your money on a ceramic cooker! The kettle is better for smoking and temp control!

Excellent features that allow shifting coals around and adding more hickory chips

I purchased the grill several months ago. We always clean and cover when done. The grates , do not seem to be able to withstand the heat.

The center removable part when placed under direct hot charcoals got too hot (isn’t it supposed to be designed to withstand high heat??) that I completely oxidized to a point when they were impossible to clean. It looks all rusty and crusty now and impossible to restore back to its shiny condition no matter what I try. It is completely ruined. The rest of the grate still looks and works fine even though i sometimes Place the hot coals to one side instead of the center, exposing them to similar high heat as the removable part. I guess they are not made the same, the center grate is now completely ruined and I am having to look for a third party replacement for it. Not what I expected for such an expensive grill grate.

Came with my 70th Anniversary kettle. Nice that the sides fold up to add charcoal to the sides. Horrible that the center grate piece falls into the hot coals when attempting to clean the grates….prior to cooking, after cooking and worse when trying to clean after 1 food so another can be cooked. Horrible design.

Replaced my cooking grate on 30 year old kettle. This will allow me to better sear meat using the new temperature control system and use the other feature of the gourmet system.

Can't beat O.E.M. parts. Another 5 years like new.

It would great if Weber added this model for the 26” charcoal kettle.

Just a replacement for my 12 year old Preformer grate system. Cooked the old one to death. I expect this one will probably last 12 years too!
