Have had my delonghi for a long time and just recently added the water filter. There is a noticeable difference in the flavor of my espresso! Taste was much more pure!

We purchased the new Rivella and love it. However, when we went to replace the filter from the kits we purchased, the filter was not the same as the one that came with the Rivella. So it does not fit and stay seated into the bottom of the water container. Is there a different filter availalbe for the Rivella. I only see one filter for all. I can't believe the filter does not fit its own product?

It doesn’t fit as tightly as the original filter provided with our espresso machine but it stays in place with the reservoir cover and does its job.

I have a RO water system and when I measure the total desolved solids with a meter it reads 17 ppm at my RO spout. Once I run the water in my magnifica throw the delonghi filter and pour a cup of hor water I measure the TDS at 37 ppm. This is odd a filter adding 20 ppm of TDS to water that has only 17 PPM to start. So this filter actually adds TDS to my water, something is not right with this filter. DELONGHI IF YOU READ MY REVIEW CAN YOU ANSWER WHY YOUR FILTER ADDS TDS TO THE WATER.

like most people I'm sure that when my coffee maker beeps and tells me it's time to de-scale we let out a heavy sigh because it is a big pain to do, but we love our machines and so it must be done! The filter extends the time between !

This does not fit the Magnifica evo as it's stated to do so. Its not even the same one that comes with the machine

Working great so far, bought it a month ago for my Magnifica Evo and strictly followed the procedure for installing and it works well.

It took 2 days to get the filter that came with the Magnifica Evo to fit correctly. Went to replace it recently with this and it doesn’t fit at all - won’t properly seat in the tank, is obstructing the water flow. Everyone is correct about the shape and dimensions being different than the original filter. Followed all directions correctly.

                  You’re going to copy/paste a reply that I should call you… but with all of these customers having the same issue maybe you should redesign your faulty product?

I am pleased with it but a bit concerned that the filter needs replacing so often using the light as a guide.

filter fits perfectly into our Magnifico Evo and really helps with the flavour of our coffee.
