Fantastic lens despite the price in the UK
As I needed to replace some general purpose zoom lenses with those of a more standard telephoto lens, this was just one of several that I purchased to help with my bucket list was full and my cancer finally killed me.
I have not regretted the decision nor the high cost.

Superb fastest sharpish lens around

Olen omistanut Canon Ef 300mm f/2.8 IS II USM -objektiivin jo useita vuosia. Tässä Canon -objektiivissa on nopein ikinä tapaamani tarkennus. Käyttämäni kamera on Canon EOS 1D mark IV. Kuvien terävyys on parasta mitä voi kuvitella -suorastaan huikean teräviä. Täydellä aukolla kuvattaessa kuvien taustoista tulee tasaisen utuisia. Objektiivi on kiitettävän kevyt mutta silti laadukkaan tukevan oloinen. Kaikki hallinta painikkeet ovat sijoitettu sopivaan kohtaan objektiivia.
Amazing quality lens
This lens is amazing even with a teleconverter 1.4, the shots I have taken have that wow factor for me and other people who have said they love them and I will not be looking for another lens, this is the right lens that anybody else would love to have and many thanks Canon.
