Had the ULT 5 for a couple of weeks now. Really pleased with Bluetooth connectivity.

The overall Quality of sound from this speaker surpasses what I expected, low or high volume it’s a breeze. It’s a Quality looking piece of kit, used every day since purchase. Lights look nice in the dark and has ample volume for outside usage. Battery power lasts a long time and the base boost is impressive. If you’re wavering about buying one, just do it.

Go for it. Awesome product by sony. Bass is too heavy.

I bought this just over a week ago. It looks good and the shoulder strap is very useful. The sound from this speaker is absolutely fantastic. It gives the effect of actually being at a concert. The Ultimate bass has the floor pounding. The lights flash in time with the music which is nice if using in a darkened foom.Since purchasing this product I have used it for hours every day. Another brilliant Sony product

A brilliant speaker! The sound quality is very crisp, the lights are cool, and the handle / carry strap is a good idea if you take it out as it is big. I love that it has an app too, so you can have a play with the light effects and sounds. The bass is great and the ULT button gives it an extra kick. I'd definitely recommend getting one.

The sound is incredible - wide and full, and fully adjustable through the Sound Connect app although the ULT settings are hard to improve upon.

Paired with my Sony deck it had breathed new life into my old vinyls.

Bought this as a replacement for my previous Sony speaker which had lasted many years but finally gave up 🥴Excellent speaker, quality sound and build, very happy 😊

This was purchased as a stand-alone music system to carry in my Landrover and connect to an iphone.

Battery life is excellent and well within the stated time, sound quality is first class but needs to be in the open air for maximum effect - it does sound good from inside but tends to be a bit "boomy".

The party lights personally are an unneccessary feature but I'm sure many will love them !!!

This speaker grabs the attention of anyone within earshot. The booming bass is exactly what people are looking for. The build is quality as you would expect from Sony. Been using it outside for a couple of weeks this winter, and it handles the mud and rain well. Perfect addition to anyone-working-on-site's toolbox.

I bought two of these to enhance the room sound by partying them with my two tower speakers. The sound is just amazing. Such a wise move. They can also be used in the garden separately from my tower speakers.

The first one I no ght had a fault. Part of the right hand side of the speaker had become detached. I returned it and bought a replacement. I like the look of it. The lights are a nice addition. The sound is fairly good but not mind blowing. As others say it's probably suited and designed (the name goes it away) more for outdoor use.

Sony Ult 5 follows in the footsteps after Ult 3.

There really is way more Fuller and inriched sound. Again if your able track 2nd one. And pair them up. In to stereo sound you really will be blown away. These are now used in movie room. I have them. In the summer days. I love the portability. No cables and mess. Turn on. Pair your Bluetooth device and away you go. It's that simple. The battery life is great. They sound amazing. Solid construction. Look great. I like line in inout. Where it will switch line from Bluetooth. Just unplug for Bluetooth connection mode. Ult button is like the loudness button. Boosts all frequencies. I always have type c cable and fast charger to hand. Just in case. Also the Sony sound app is great touch. Update firmware and create your own EQ. Highly recommend them. Well worth the money. Thanks Sony.

I bought this on 30 Nov for Xmas and it is working well after 2 days, although was slightly bigger than expected. But it is a step up from the Bose Sound Link 3 that it is replacing. albeit not as conveniently sized. I think I did prefer the Bose for convenience and adequate quality - but let's see how we get on with the ULT Field over time :)

I purchased the Sony ULT Field 5 and I am really impressed with the sound quality. It looks great and is simple to set up & use. friends and family have all commented on how good it sounds / looks with the light effect.

Quick bluetooth pairing, Great Sound. Quite heavy for form factor.

Very inpressed with the speaker the sound is very good it's a weighty bit of kit lot of functions flash lights can be switched off
