[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a television for a bright lounge, to sit on “floating” wall mounted cabinets, and we did not want the clutter of a soundbar and other accoutrements. It was important to us that the television should not dominate the room. The 48in LG OLED G6 (2026) with stand has exceeded all expectations with a truly brilliant picture, which is maintained over a wide viewing angle and with excellent sound quality and depth.

Initial assembly requires careful attention to the instructions, but the resulting base is rock solid.

Set up was a breeze, and we’ve been using it via WiFi to stream effortlessly from a wide range of providers - no aerial and no clunky boxes!

Had thought about using with Apple TV, but at present there’s nothing the TV can’t do on its own!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent TV however it is let down by missing a dedicated or assignable subtitle button you still can switch them on by going thru several menu steps however they do not work for satellite channels also the switching between antenna and satellite channels could be easier or even an option if desired by showing antenna and satellite channels in one guide would be great

It’s another great product from LG and a definite upgrade from our previous TV. The picture quality and overall performance are excellent, and it feels like a worthwhile improvement. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

The quality of,espicially,outside broadcasts(football!)was as if you were there,amazing.It wasnt cheap but you get what you pay for,that is the only reason for 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the instructions for attach the stand to the TV a bit confusing (there's no text, just small pictures which aren't particularly clear), but I got there. But then there is nothing about setting up the TV itself - I was told to download an app, which I did but that never 'found' the TV so was a pointless exercise (even though they are on the same WiFi). But I had 4 options of my WiFi to choose from which I didn't understand, so just chose the top one. The picture is sharp but nothing spectacular. I don't think it is any brighter than my old TV (not OLED), but the black is definitely blacker. I specifically chose this TV because it says you don't get a reflection in a brightly lit room - sadly that's not true. Whilst it is reduced a little, I do still get a reflection. So still have to close the curtains. The sound on the TV isn't great, it's okay but not great - so I am glad I took the free soundbar. But again I had trouble setting that up, so eventually contacted the support. I had to do a hard restart (unplug TV, press on/off button for 30 seconds and then plug back in and turn on, same with soundbar). That did at least sort out the soundbar issue and she was able to talk me through something so that I only have to use one remote control to use the TV, skybox and soundbar. But there is no way I would have been able to do that myself. In short, it's a decent enough TV but nothing ground-breaking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the TV in August 2026 and am very pleased with it. The colours are beautifully displayed and lower definition videos are AI enhanced to good high quality video. The responsiveness of the TV menus is excellent and far quicker than my earlier TVs.
