I've been using the INZONE Mat-F Gaming Mousepad for a couple of weeks now during my daily gaming sessions, primarily for FPS games at my home office setup.

I originally used cloth material mousepads but eventually switched to glass mousepads because of their superior glide ability. However, the transition to glass came with a huge learning curve - while the sliding capability was excellent, the stopping power was practically non-existent, making precise movements challenging during intense gaming moments.

The INZONE Mat-F has become the perfect solution to my mousepad dilemma. It finds an ideal happy medium between the two extremes I've experienced. The surface has a wonderfully spongy, almost springy feel that provides exceptional stopping power when I need to make precise movements or sudden stops during gameplay - something my glass mousepad completely lacked.

Despite the spongy base material, the thread weave on the surface is incredibly tight, which creates excellent gliding capabilities that rival my glass mousepad. My mouse moves smoothly across the surface without any drag or inconsistency, allowing for fluid tracking movements while still maintaining that reliable stopping power when needed.

Performance:

This combination of springy base for control and tight weave for smooth gliding gives me the best of both worlds. I get the precision control I missed from my cloth days and the smooth gliding I loved about glass, without the drawbacks of either. It's particularly noticeable during long competitive gaming sessions where consistency and adaptability are crucial.

Build Quality:

The construction feels durable and well-made. After weeks of use, there's no visible wear or fraying at the edges, and the surface maintains its original texture and performance.

Overall:

For anyone who has struggled with choosing between control and glide, this mousepad is the answer. It's transformed my gaming experience by providing the perfect balance I've been searching for. Highly recommended for competitive gamers looking for that ideal middle ground.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, where do we start, with the packaging I guess, as it’s important it’s packed in sustainable packaging and is easy to unpack whilst offering the mat lots of protection.

I don’t, personally do a lot of gaming but this mat is fantastic for all mouse uses so I guess in my case it’s a hybrid mouse mat. I believe the mat was designed with assistance from Fnatic a leading eSports company so it should be good.

The mouse moves effortlessly across the surface, almost friction free, but it stops on a sixpence too. It’s a perfect size as well fitting without trouble onto my desk area but giving plenty of support to the mouse and wrist. In size it’s about 480mm x 400 mm with around 5- 6mm of cushioning

The mousepad is extremely well made having a cloth finish and fully stitched edges, it’s also a good thickness and comfortable never seeming to move around the desk in use.

I have a “glass” mat at present this Sony mat knocks spots off of it.

My only criticism is that it’s probably a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well my first foray into the “professional “ gaming mat scene the Inzone Mat F gaming mousepad has been a revelation. The size at 48 x 40cm and 6cm thick gives more than enough space for even the most extreme mouse movements. The thickness gives a lovely soft feel making extended gaming feel effortless. The stitching around the edge is , as you’d expect, top quality reducing the chance of stray threads appearing at crucial times. The Mat-F High Friction surface is perfect for immediate and accurate stopping when needed but also allows complete control at slow movement speeds. The non slip underside means the Mat-F is going nowhere even during the more intense gaming action. Overall a great addition to any gaming set up. Just make sure you have the space available and you’re going to love it.

Wow it feels very good quality, must be at least twice as think as my previous mat. It comes rolled up, but remains flat after about 30 minutes. No smells from the material. It’s very grippy, as I use it often on a flat tray on my lap. I love how Sony can produce quality products all the time. It makes for hours of enjoyment, compliments a gaming mouse. Never felt let down by Sony products, always surpass their competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using the Sony INZONE Mat-F for almost a week now and so far so good. The size is generous (plenty of room for low DPI play), and the 6mm thickness makes it comfortable on the wrist during long gaming sessions.

The surface has just the right amount of resistance for precise aiming. Especially for FPS where control matters more than raw speed.

The build quality is excellent. The stitched edges give it a premium feel and should stop it fraying, and the rubber base keeps it firmly in place. It doesn’t slide around at all. It took around 18-24 hours to fully settle and go perfectly flat. It’s delivered well packaged and soft rolled, hence the settling in period.

There is a little extra friction, which might not suit those who prefer really fast flicks. I’m no competitive gamer, but I think this would be right down that street.

Overall, if you’re after comfort, durability, and accuracy, this is a great choice.
