These are great headphones for airplane in terms of noise cancelling performance. The sound is great although little bass heavy with default EQ setting, but adjustable).

The main con of these headphones are the artefacts produced by the noise cancelling algorithm while driving. You can get rid of the artefacts by turning every noise cancelling feature off. I thought my pair was defected first, but the second pair behaved exactly the same way. I hope Bose will fix this at some point with firmware update without sacrificing noise cancelling performance.

Another con are the controls. Changing from one mode to another is slow volume control is ok, but would be better if implemented using buttons like in the earlier similar Bose models. Turning headphones off is hit or miss.

If good sound, noise cancelling, and comfort are your main priorities in choosing this kind of headphones this product is a good choice.

Having owned all the major brands of headphone/earphone, for me, these are the best. I own two pairs (one pair are 1st Gen) so that I can have one on and one on charge so I’m never without. The most comfortable, the best ANC and the least amount of tweaking to get my personal best sound, I’d be lost without them.

As you would expect, the sound quality is second to none. Headphones are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

My favourite feature, however, is the dual connection feature. I can have them connected to my iPhone and my works laptop and the headphones switch between if a call comes in on Teams. Awesome feature!

Sound quality is superb, as you would expect from Bose, however it is the other features that I absolutely love! The ability to connect to two devices simultaneously is incredible! I can connect to my phone to listen to music but having it linked also to my work laptop means that I can be listening to music and if a call comes through via Teams, it switches me straight over.

Love it!

Best birthday present this year. I wear them around the house listening to podcasts and music.

Im glad I got these. Amazing durability and comfort. However, noise cancelling software is a little bit untuned. Lots of minor issues that don’t exist other places. Ignorable still.

Bough them a couple of days ago, this headphones are amazing the ANC is in another level you can hear nothing with them on, the sound is crazy perfect for the gym plus the headphones are really aesthetics 10/10

Had the QC ultra headphones for about 2 years and when i saw the gen 2 i thought they could only be better. I was very wrong, the bluetooth connection on these headphones on my pc with the usb link is absolutely terrible, the usb link never had any problems and still doesnt have any problems with the original QC ultra headphones just the gen 2 headphones. the audio stutters and cuts out all the time whenever its connected to the usb link, i could walk to the other side of my room or even turn my head and it makes them start to cut out, they do work perfect on my phone but the app has such a bad eq the audio just sounds trash and jid rather just use the gen 1 headphones. Tried to look online for some solutions but apparently its a really common issue with the gen 2, so now they are just an ornament on a shelf. As great as they sound on my pc just buy the gen 1 version they are practically no different.

I got this product a couple of weeks ago. Look and feel are incredible. Loving the immersive mode and noise cancelling I do a lot of walking running and these are fabulous. Snug fit but not tight. No movement. A+

Bought a week ago, the ANC is pretty good, great soundstage and overall great product, watching movies with this is so immersive it feels like I’m in the cinema! Speaking of, the immersion mode adds to the already great soundstage the headphones already give so it adds more flavour and personality to every music I listen to. Also I accidentally dropped it off my head onto a hard surface and there were no dents or dings on the headphones - not even a scratch! It’s a solid pair of headphones. The comfort of the headphones is completely unmatched, I mean it’s in the name! I sometimes sleep with them on and yes, on the lower volumes. Don’t sleep with them on if your music is too loud!

There are a few problems however, the left hinge creaks but I don’t hear when I wear it so it’s not that big of a deal. The buttons are also a little finicky, pretty hard to triple press to play the previous song, and the volume slider sometimes adds too much volume or not enough. Either way it’s still a pretty great product, 5 stars.

I bought this few weeks ago in midnighg purple and i'm totally amazed this is my 2nd bose headset from the first qc 35.

This is my first foray into ANC and premium headphones. I am not an audiophile but do listen to podcasts and music daily (especially during my commute to work) making the need for a reliable and comfortable headphone a non-negotiable.

the QC ultra Gen 2 has made my morning commute a lot more pleasant. The one thing I did hope was that my glasses didn't impact my ANC perception (I get it, glasses hinder the seal around the ear) but I guess nothing can be done about it. I do wish there were better presets based on genre or music or listening (podcasts ) and one more viewing. this would take the guessing game out for a novice like me who wants good sound but couldn't be bothered to tinker around.

I have been using Bose products for over 25 years, and have always been a fan of the QC products due to its sound quality and comfort. I’m not an audiophile but love listening to music for a long period of time. Meaning, i use headphones a lot. The QC ultra gen 2 is simply remarkable, especially ‘immersion’ mode. Just feels like I’m part of the music track. Well done Bose. Highly recommended product

These Bose headphones are absolutely fantastic — clear, balanced sound with real depth, and the noise cancellation is on another level. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day, and every detail feels premium. The build quality, the feel, and that calm silence when the ANC kicks in — perfect. Easily the best headphones I’ve ever owned.

I bought them a few weeks ago and they are amazing, use them all the time. I also have Gen 1, nice upgrade.
