Decent little headphones
So I’ve had the Philips TAT5000BK bluetooth wireless headphones for a couple of weeks now and thought I’d leave my thoughts on them. I’d said the first thing would be to temper expectation. These are not high end earbuds so won’t be market leading in performance but I have to say for the cost they perform admirably. They’re not quite as compact as I’d prefer but they do fit in the ear comfortably enough and come with a few different silicone options for best fit. I’ve not tried running or any exercise with them but given the feel I wouldn’t suggest they’d work their way out any more than any other in ear headphones. Battery life has been really good so far and hasn’t run out on me yet, though storing them in the case keeps them charged. The charging case is neat with a decent size indicator light showing status. Overall a pretty good package.
Good value headphones
Nice in ear headphones with good sound and a decent amount of bass. Good battery life with the charging case just a shame it doesn’t have wireless charging. Call were clear on both ends. Overall good value for money
Good quality earbuds
Bought for my son to replace his old earbuds. Excellent noise cancellation, and it has this fab feature called adaptive noise cancelling which means it adapts to your surroundings. You can also tap the earbuds to activate awareness mode if you need to quickly hear what's going on in your surroundings.
Decent play time, roughly 8 hours before having to recharge, enough for a day at college for my son. You get extra hours from.the charging case too.
Bluetooth connection is easy to set up. No issues there at all. Sound quality is very good, clear and good bass.
Not the most comfortable earbuds though unfortunately.
IPX5 rating is a plus point, no need to worry when using in unexpected rain.
Overall happy with these and would recommend.
Good sound and value for money
After my Apple AirPods failed, I need a reasonable prices pair of headphones. After a little bit of research, I choose these Philip wireless headphones. For the price and value, they represent a great investment. I will confess that when I first connect them to my phone, I felt the sound was a little flat, however once I downloaded the app, the I was able to adjust to my personal preference the sound I was pleasantly surprised. In terms of the size the headphones felt very comfortable, and I fell the touch controls were very responsive.
I found the adaptive noise cancellation worked well especially when I was in a crowded place. When I received a call, the other person was able to hear me clearly.
Compared to my previous AirPods I found the battery life of these far better. According to the specs they last up to 30 hours. I like that you can pop the back in the case for 15 minutes to get an extra 3 hours. Which was very useful on a recent flight.
If you’re an audiophile, you may nitpick about the frequency ranges and the sound quality, but if you are just looking to listen to music while you’re out and about then these offer great sound and excellent value for money.
Just comfortable for me and affordable
I bought this for a daily walk and to use when I go hiking. This is very nice and just the perfect size for my ears. It’s comfortable, the price is good affordable for what it offers. Sound quality is good. So it’s just perfect. Quality is good.
Affordable quality ear buds
Good quality ear buds that are comfortable to wear. The sound quality is very good and blue tooth connection is very good. The charge seems to last very well and I have only had to charge once since using them. Great value for money and affordable but still quality.
Disappointing, not up to the mark, Flawed design
I collect different branded earphones and this is the first time buying Philips earphones and its disappointing experience.
Design
- out of the box and the case design looks good. However the design is completely flawed. It keeps on falling out of my ears even with slight movement. Whoever designed it
- The case feels cheap, like when you get that cheap plasticity feeling.
Connectivity
- it connects within seconds which is a plus.
Sound quality
- ANC is non-existent
- sound quality is just ok.
- call quality is bad. People on the other end said, am I speaking under a blanket or from underground. Need speak out loud otherwise they do not hear
- Bass is bad.
Battery Life
- Battery life is good.
Overall not a good experience with this headphone. There are other competitors with great sound quality and ergonomics within this price range
Good quality headphones for the price
This is a good set of headphones at a reasonable price in comparison to others on the market, sound quality is good and microphone is fantastic for work meeting when you may be subject to background noise, only issue is that there is no volume control on the headphones or the case which I get when you have a premium version which does include this.
Overall a good headphone at the price and would certainly reccomend
