I am happy with my purchase, great picture quality, just wish the sound had better oomph!

Really great TV. Colour, Picture quality, sound. Phone remote etc.

I bought this to replace an older AF8 OLED and the improvement to the UI and OS has been worth it. The picture is fantastic, OLED continues to me to be the best screen technology and now all my displays are OLED. I have an A95L for the main TV and this comes with a similar feature set, in terms of HDMI 2.1, VRR, 120Htz, great HDR, so again this is a great step up from the 2019 TV I replaced it with. Maybe the picture wouldn't survive a direct head to head with the A95L, but for the use case I have it is certainly as good as I need it to be.

I had the refreshed 2025 version, which I believe differs only in the quality of the supplied remote, which is noticeably lighter than the metal version I have with other models.

Hankkisin koko perheelle ns joululahjaksiaksi. Huippuostos vaikka hinta kieltämättä vähän kirpaisee. Toki ollut käytössä vasta reilu viikon, mutta kokemukset tähän asti pelkästään positiivisia. Koko muu perhe samaa mieltä. Kerännyt jokaisella katselukerralla kommentteja kuinka hyvä kuva laitteessa on. Kuvanlaatu on kyllä hyvä vaikka sisältö olisi SHD laatuista. Kun katsoo Dolby Vision tai IMAX laatuista sisältöä on kuvanlaatu käsittämättömän upea. Itselle vielä suurena yllätyksenä tuli äänenlaatu jonka tv tuottaa (erilliseen Bang&Olufsen aktiivi-järjestelmään). Sama kaiutinjärjestelmö ollut käytössä edellisessä tv:ssä ja äänenlaadun eron huomaa selkeästi. Toki tässäkin katsottavalla sisällöllä on tietysti vaikutusta, esim Dolby Atmos tai DTS-X laatuinen sisältö kuulostaa kuin olisi leffateatterissa. Tv:n omaa äänentoistoa en ole edes juuri testannut mutta eivätpä ne ikinä missään mallissa ole kovin kummoisia, toimii itsellä lähinnä jonkin sortin keskikaiuttimena. Jos siitä jotain pitää mainita niin ääni tulee jännästi kuvaruudusta (en tiedä onko hyvä tai huono asia).

En löytänyt mitään syytä ostaa kalliimpaa Bravia 8 mallia koska paneelitekniikka tässä 8A mallissa täysin sama, mikä itselle oleellisin asia. Yksi ero oli että kaukosäätimet ilmeisesti erilaiset Bravia 8-mallissa, mutta for real ostaako joku telkkarin kaukosäätimen takia?

Kolme edellistä telkkaria olleet sonyn tuotteita eikä siis pettänyt tälläkään kertaa! Itsellä tulee yhdelle telkkarille käyttövuosia suht monta. Viimekertainen oli käytössä 7vuotta ja onhan siinä ajassa laitteet taas kehittynyt rutkasti.

Sony nauttii ainakin omalla kohdalla premium valmistajan mainetta ja tämän ostoksen jälkeen vahvisti vain ajatusmallia telkkareiden Audina/Mersuna ;)

We were delighted to buy this new Sony. We have had our last 42” Sony TV for over 20 years and wanted to upgrade. We saw this one and thought it was a good option to replace our now outdated TV. However I was sad to see we still cannot operate all our equipment with just one remote. We are unable to operate our Bose solo 5 sound bar which is a bit disappointing, but it just means we still have to use 2 remotes when I was hoping to get down to just 1. All that said it is Sony so you know the quality is great. We thought the 65” was going to be too big but so glad we went for it as it sits nicely into the original position of our existing TV and doesn’t look too large for the space. The colours are exceptional and as stated previously the quality is superb. I knew Sony was the only choice for us as we have not had any bad equipment from Sony and it does tend to last for years. The old Sony TV will be a great PC monitor and TV if needed. I would thoroughly recommend Sony as you can rely on them for quality, fabulous colours and equipment that will last for years.
