I bought the Galaxy Tab A9+ tablet as a gift to my elderly parents, and when choosing a protecting cover for it, I noticed this product which is also a functional keyboard; thinking that my parents are not used to touch screen devices, and may struggle with on-screen keyboards, I decided to buy this cover with embedded keyboard despite the more than double price of a basic cover, but eventually I was really happy with the choice.

The cover itself is very sturdy and looks like it will last many years. The keyboard has quality keys, with a very nice tactile feedback when pressing them, and is not noisy. The locking mechanism is based on strong magnets, so that when you open the cover and put the screen in vertical position, it locks in place in a way that it won't ever slip away accidentally (slipping is usually the weakness of every tablet cover I have tried before). If anything, perhaps the magnets are even a tiny bit too strong for the hands of elderly people (or kids) when they need to unlock the tablet and close the cover. But in generally, I think it is an excellent design, as the keyboard connects essentially by touching tiny metal contacts, it is neither wireless not hard-plugged.

Overall I heartily recommend this cover to anyone who expects to need a lot of typing on the tablet, or generally dislikes using on-screen touch keyboards.
