LG UltraGear OLED 27GX704A-B 27" -pelinäyttö

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using my 1440p 240 Hz OLED from LG and honestly, it’s brilliant. The colours look amazing, the blacks are deep, and the viewing angles are great. Gaming is super smooth and responsive I really wouldn’t want to go with any other brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a fairly new lg 27" 165hz led qhd gaming gsync monitor which was really good, I can say the image quality is allot sharper the pixels seem smaller? and increased refresh rate is noticeably smoother, the Black's - dark images are another level and so is the colour and the contrast. Very happy so far. Highly recommended.

Gets bright in both SDR and HDR. Nice OSD and design and love the ease of use, by coming with a remote control.

What can I say other than this monitor is amazing!!! Have tweaking the colour and a few settings it looks perfect.

Having come from an ips panel to OLED the image quality something else…the blacks are actually black lol.

Response time is great and the fact I can get rid of my refresh rate cap and go whole hog is an absolute game changer!!!

1440p, 240hz, HDR, VRR, inky OLED blacks… I wish it was glossy like their TVs though, maybe one day they’ll make a 27” version of their C or G series TVs.

Monitor is switching from 1440p 240hz on desktop to 4k 120hz in game. Its recognized that the hardware supports both but in full screen apps they always prioritize the highest resolution. Only way to solve this is to remove the television resolutions with a custom resolution editer, but that introduces other issues. Once removing the 4k tv resolutions the monitor stops being recognized in booth especially with multimonitor set ups when using HDMI 2.1. The only work around is to delete the television resolutions and use displayport 1.4 but then you are stuck with 8 bit color. The problem is the only reason a 4k 120hz is even present on this monitor is so that consoles can run at a downscaled 1440p more specifically the PS5 because it cannot run HDR with the 1440p signal and this product isn't even for them.
